As can be seen, Global chat is pretty powerful, and right now, too many people have access to it for far too cheap, and it’s being abused.
The megaphone should be significantly more costly/cash shop based for this reason. As well, a change to how the chatbox works would be great. So far, if I click a tab on the side, it’ll automatically throw me into that chat if I start talking. What’s more, if I’m in a party and lag forces me to be suddenly out of it (I’ve had this happen, I’ll switch maps and can see the party, but I don’t exist in the party chat), then I can try talking and my messages won’t come out.
Sometimes I like reading normal chat. It doesn’t necessarily mean I want to speak normally. The solution is to make the /p, /s, /y, and /w options a dropdown menu, similarly to a lot of other games.
