Max Level, End Game

Hey guys been looking forward to seeing more of this game, but What is the max level going to be in the final version of the game? i have seen people at 250 in Korean CBT, and also what sort of end game content can we look forward to?

Pvp, Guild wars, Hidden class hunting and maybe more…

Most people will say Max level is 500, since that’s the highest leveled dungeon we can find on the World Map

no limet sounds like Black desert online, i hear thats not going to have a level limit

Honestly I’m fu-cking sick of endgame. In RO end game content could easily be done with level 8x and I think that should be the case here too. Don’t make it grind to 500 and then go “THE REAL GAME STARTS HERE” I’m very much not a fan of that. Everything should be open to everyone. Want to go in that 500 level dungeon as level 20 DO IT.

In my eyes a MMO that makes the trip to max level enjoyable but hard it the best kind of MMO. Not everyone should be max level. It should be like top 10% or something. It should take time, dedication and serious will power.

As said content should be doable the lower levels.

you make many good points, would be good to see dungeons you can go into at any level and will scale according to your party level, would make it alot of fun, and would give you lots to do along the way to max level,

If you look at the world map, once you reach max level your choices are admittedly limited with nothing left to do but sit around or go on raids for rare items and resale. Once you reach the highest peak of equipment, money limit, and perhaps rank, it gets rather stale.

Sure future updates can add more dungeons, but every MMO does that so much it’s vanilla. Expansion of the world map would actually be good, more cities, more sights, more fields, not just dungeons. Maybe going into that large tree in some hollow woody tunnel and end up on the other side in a completely unknown world? The realm where the missing goddesses have been taken to and a rescue mission? The underworld to defeat Laima’s sister? It can keep building up that contributes to the lore. Unlike Ragnarök Online or Lime Odyssey, the artist and creative directors are not limited to follow a prewritten plotline that was based on another entertainment medium, such as a manwha, prequel game, or novelization. It’s a clean slate and the possibilities are actually endless, granted of course it’s still tied to Balto-Slavic mythology. The storyline is just as important as the technical elements of the game.

I hope that Hidden classes are hard to get and I hope that there are different way to get them… People are gonna search for hidden classes when they are max levels… 30 hidden classes + hard get… Amazing…

how do hidden classes work, havent really seen much info on them at all?

I agree, max level should something you really, really work hard for. It would be interesting if ToS or any MMO would allow this. It reminds me of the novel Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. If I remember correctly, at about 3 or so years of the novel’s timeline, no one had yet reached max level in the MMO in it. There were still some yet unexplored game content. IRL though, with a lot of players so used to easy games, they’re likely to drop the game than play it.

I also agree that content should be available to anyone if they can do it, but I think being unable to do higher level content if you’re low level (i.e. due to difficulty, monsters) is just fine. What is needed is some good low level content that is also fun/interesting, enough that max level isn’t where “the real game starts.”

Is there a problem with MMOs having “end”? I think it would be nice if some game simply had a victory condition. I hate to use this example, but something like Sword Art Online comes to mind - beat final level, you’re free to go. After you clear the end-game content you have the usual PvP, or collecting achievements and rare items, why not. But a single game doesn’t have to entertain you for years. How many MMOs can you name that became terrible after tons of updates trying to breathe some fresh air into them?
The only reason I can think of why devs keep expanding their games is to milk more money from players.

@azebu95 you make a great point, look at WoW should have died years ago,

Well, judging by how the Devs said they are going to “hide” most quests, and it really just meant not advertise them or have all in a big quest hub. I think “Hidden classes” might gust mean the npcs and info on them isn’t just handed to you. You probably will just find random NPC somewhere and he will be a class master or some job change quest-line.

Thats wa I think they will end up being anyway…

i did abit of reading on the forums people are talking about that hidden classes will be limited on each server so only a selected number of people will be only able to have the hidden class, like the first 100 or some thing, really hope it doesnt come down to that, will turn into a real competitive race to get to certain levels for hidden classes

Developers did mention that players will unlock hidden class when they have achieved enough Adventure Achievement points in the Adventure Journal.

Regarding hidden classes is there anyone else who hopes it’s not really limited by the number of people who can be the class but rather it being time gated or having really obtuse requirements?
