i couldn’t manage to do more screenshot, due it also freeze my system whenever id tried to manually close the window. CTRL+ALT+DEL solve the problem. Now im stuck with the mission.
Post your system specs.
this is me.
other thread:
That event killed my framerate, too.
someone with a Titan X SLI, can help me with this quest?
try this quest with low-performance checked under performance in the settings.
Window 7 Professional 64bit
AMD A8
GPU 8500M + 8550G
8GB RAM
No, this isnt about my spec. I manage to play the game with 60+fps constantly, with minimum 40-30+ fps when it drop.
The problem only occur to this specifically quest.
Didn’t work. Disable any other option, and use low-spec setting. The problem didn’t solve. It show the same result.
Like i said, i don’t have any problem with other mission. I manage to grindfest my level exp until lvl 60, solo without having massive fps drop. Upents is the only quest manage to rekt my fps from 60+ to 0.16+ fps. I thought it might be related with the particle spamfest or anything related with it.
I see. it’s weird Because I’m using a old ass pc (it’s not even close to yours) and the lag spikes aren’t that bad.
It only happen on Upents boss fight quest. Nothing else. I’m barely have any lagspike with other boss fight.
It’s possible this is related to people using an Integrated Graphics Card. This can apply to old and new computers. An old computer doesn’t necessarily have to use an Integrated Graphics Card. However, this is normally the case with low-end non-gaming laptops. I’d surmise it’s a problem with graphics optimization and memory management by the client itself. This is why it’s highly recommended to have a lot of RAM available and a certain bare minimum on graphics cards. Though I don’t know whether dual channeling your RAM with an Integrated Graphics card is going to improve the client’s response or not.
My only suggestion to the Developers is to develop a way to have options for reducing the amount of graphical effects being shown at once. There are settings to reduce the graphical load and to place the graphics settings on low, but I don’t believe it is enough when there is a lot going on all at once. Making certain animations non-existent should help reduce the instant FPS drop to no response issues.
yea mine too thats the only quest for me that being like that i got past with that thru my pyro cause i can just drop fire pillar and they will get killed easily but in other char i cant get past with this quest.
I too had problems with this quest and lag, it stopped my client the first couple of times, and still lagged like crazy after lowering quality settings. I ended up having to have a party help me through this one.
I have an older PC: (i7 920, GTX 750 Ti, 12gb RAM) and have VSync enabled. During that quest fps got from stable 60 to “stable” 30. One would expect to have smooth performance @30 fps, but that was not the case: game was stuttering ALOT and nearly unplayable.
Same here. I somehow managed to finish it with my sapper by putting an OP Claymore before the fight, but i’m totally stuck with my cry/psy. And this isn’t about PC specs, i run the game at 30-59 fps and get 0.2 fps there.
Bump, this is still a problem.
I cant fight Dulla because the fps drops to 0.xx.
