No rollback?..

Have fun for those account that will go thro after the investigation like always. :tired:

also Grats for those item(Listed like 5days+ ago) Your item finally GOT bought! (if you get what i mean)

What about people who abuse the hacked silvers? Will they be punished as well or no rollback and they can walk free with dirty silvers?!

This doesn’t sound reassuring at all. So you’re just bringing the game back up and people who sold items will still have their silver? Rollback now, please.

Really need to work with valve too, the hacks are bad, but the bot problem still exists - not to mention with how steam works, these guys can easily come back, and continue to mess with the system.

Edit: Also just noticed a silly tid-bit “This topic will close 1408 years after the last reply.”

monthly subscription like WoW please, definitely will reduce your problem,
free game and no anti-cheat progams: ban->create new account->ban->create new account
its pointless
or you know, like blizzard taking matters into court, so less people will fck around

This announcement said nothing. And people who sold legit items (like the Velcofer pistol I could just look at and never buy, to expensive for me :disappointed_relieved: ), will they lose their items + silver? It would be quite unfair.

Now, the 1 billion costumes selllers, well… those are so obvious that there’s no way to mistake them for legit sellers.

All in all, this will still have a… bombastic result.

@STAFF_Ines thanks you for this info

well, at least they could make it a buy to play game where you pay ~10 Euros for the game but get a free Token, 1-3 Reset Packages and some attribute points as compensation (also promotes buying Tokens and DLC).

To be honest, the silver influx into the server doesn’t really matter that much.
Sure, it will heat up an inflation (at least on the legit sales because people won’t be banned for it), but it will die down at a certain time.

It also will help the market by rising the values of items as there is now demand again for everything.
New players will be able to sell items for more silver and sink them towards their attributes and equipment.

The market will control itself over time. Sure, some people will earn a lot, but it’s only because they had valuable equivalents [i.e. items] which now are scarce again, so the new sells will net way more money (i.e. they probably lost money compared to if they sell now).

I actually earned a lot of silver with legal sales through the influx (about 100m), but guess what? It will all go into rerolling Velcoffer cubes, so no damage done on my end tbh.

I bet a lot of people will sink their “duped”/hacked silver, too, since this game has some really good ways to sink silver.

TBH the damage done to the economy isn’t that large on the long run. The silver will be sunk at a certain time.
And tbh the damage done with this silver hack is way less than the damage done with up to 2 years of legal macroing/botting with Necros and Sorcerers. They earned several billions until IMC acted, and they didn’t take any money from them at all.

Thank you for swiftly taking action.

Hi, I’m new to the game (almost 2 weeks old), could someone kindly walk me through happened to the market and what this maintenance patch supposedly did to fix it? I’m really out of the loop.

check this out. All you wanted to know.

Yikes not even goddess Laima had a revelation for this

All items that i had up for sale were sold. But it was all items that i got from buying cash shop boxes. You can check my steam transactions. Will i lose the silver and items as well?
I am legit player and i came back like a month ago and wasted like 700 euros on cash shop boxes. Also i had 170m even before this market hack.

No idea what will be done here… Yesterday, the WHOLE market was bought on the Fedimian server, which means that probably 99% of the player base got silver from the items they sold previously. You cannot ban 99% of your playerbase… A rollback should clearly be the most fair thing to do and 24 hours should be enough. Otherwise, how would you tell if an item was legit or not? Maybe by time of transaction (check when the whole mess started and remove all silver generated from items sold after that time)…

It does not seem fair to me that many became rich in an ILLEGAL way.
