Maps are overcrowded!

I will sum up : put at least 1000 channels on the maps, not in the city. There are 5 groups for each monster that respawn. The concept of ‘ks’ does not exist . Gridding is a part of the game? Ok , thats fine. But come on , is this a social experiment that try to improve the level of “shareness” of the people?
I am leveling at lvl 78 and cant find ONE SINGLE MAP that I cant see 5~10 people on my screem fighting for the respawn.
For now, this game is unplayable.
Waiting for improvements,

see you soon.

I love to grind - if there are monsters to grind

I dont know why they only opening 1 Channel (mostly) per Map but fighting with 10 people for one monster is just not enjoyable and frustating and makes no fun.

Something they definitely need to fix. Grinding is great, when you can actually grind. Killing groups of monsters is so fun together. Gathering materials and what not.

If it stays overcrowded with only one channel and horribly limited monsters… honestly, I’m going to get really bored, really fast. Not being able to waste time at my own leisure. No thanks. Might as well go play another game I can just have immediate fun than to slowly wait and compete for mobs. That’s how today’s world works. Kinda sucks because nobody is willing to have the patience to be rewarded. It’s just nobody has time like they used to when they were in high school/middle school. The internet has spoiled us, but that’s just something you have to work around at this point.

MMO structure may just be a bad game for you. It sounds like you want a single player experience, and all the people around you are bothers. This is not how MMO games work.

More channels is good, but from what bizarre universe are you pulling 1000 channels per map?

You know how hard that’d be on any server, right?

While it’s not nice to be totally alone, it’s not great when the area is so crowded it looks like a police riot where the protestors are the poor little monsters in the worker’s lounge.

Man, i’m sorry but I have to disagree with you. I’ve been playing MMO since the even existence of these kind of game. I’D played ragnarok for almost 7 years and experienced a lot of others MMO.
My struggle is real dude: me and my friends that started together on this beta test CANT FIND A SINGLE SPOT that hasnt been occupyied for 2~3 parties. This is not what is expected. I wanna a game that I can play and not a game that I need to w8 the monsters respawn and got instakilled by 10 players.

I guess I am not sharing your problems, when I find a space to grind I can always find a channel with maybe 1-2 people total, or sometimes completely empty.

Are you sure you are not exaggerating a tad?

Nope, sorry. In the higher level areas, there is only one channel for every map. It’s pretty darn crowded.

Well, I did an exaggeration of my point of view and I guess you capted my idea
.

Dont know what level u are, but from 60~90 its too damn overcrowded. And i’m telling there are 3 people for each monster.

They may just be doing that to stress test.

Or throttle the players, thinking that most would have dropped off by the level 60 or so range. Limiting people’s progress by using eachother would be clever, but it’d be a totally awful move.

I’m not sure what causes some maps to crash, but it seems to be noticable and something like a cumulative lag. I notice those maps about to die a few minutes before they actually cease to exist.

It’s a part of MMO games. It is frustrating, but while it’s just CBT you just have to deal with it. Also, I think 5-10 channels are enough.

1000 channels per map is excessive (I lol’d), but I understand your sentiments. Upping the later tier maps to 3-5 channels per would be a massive improvement though.

As it’s been kind of glossed over prior, I usually love meeting and interacting with people in MMOs. Here, in Tree of Savior, I find myself hating 98% of the people I run into on the field. If there were more room/faster spawn/higher mob density/less lag, it would probably be a different story!

As it stands, however, I’m starving for exp, and there are tens of thousands of cockroaches trying to gobble up every mob I lay my lag glazed eyes on.

I’m sorry man, if there are no cappacity to the amount of players that are in game right now they shouldnt gave away this amount of keys. There is no excuse for this since they knew “exactley”
how many players would be playing.

Another way to fix this, in my point of view, is to put “dungeons” (the one that is exclusive for the party) where u can really get level with your mates.

I agree the maps are overcrowded and KS’ing is a real issue here. I’d like the developers to put in a KS protection system. But for this to work they have to rescale the mob spawning mechanics a little, because if a party manages to wipe an area of the map clean the mobs won’t come back for a while :frowning: ; I mean the spawn rate is fine, but the number of mobs that come back are too scarce that for a period of time the map looks empty.

Instanced maps for the win !
