Making the Tree of Savior a B2P game

Even with 3 servers added to the closed beta test it is unplayable on peek hours. I do believe in B2P will help the game to have more servers and help out the ToS Team. This will also decrease the number of bots playing the server and people who can’t afford a $10 - $20 game on their own. Please do reconsider this game to be a B2P instead of a F2P that gives too much micro transactions. The game is great, but it is unplayable at the moment.

It’s a test I don’t think their gonna do that if anything their might be an item shop an certain Ip bans if anything

The game being F2P or B2P won’t change anything at this point. We’re testing the server first and the game second at the moment. There isn’t even money involved.

I have no idea what you are talking about. First off, I am logging in from US West Coast and have experienced minimal lag. Even running at 45-60 FPS with 6gigs of Ram and a 3.6ghz Dual Core Processor.
Secondly, the term is P2P (Pay to Play) and I will tell you now it will not stop botters. Look at World of Warcraft.
Third and last on my list, the project has been intended to use micro transactions from the start as it was announced originally as a F2P.

The problem with the item shop there will be a lot of limitations over for the players who doesn’t want to pay $5 - $10 like ArchAge for example barely could do anything in that game therefore it became too linear for a “sandbox” game. Plus servers will be flooded for ToS and sometimes the Closed Beta Tests “usually” are their only servers even though the game is launched, that happened to WIldStar going to F2P. I mean Black Desert Online went B2P and there are a lot of angry kids out there complaining about being from F2P to B2P, but it was a smart move for them so they can provide better servers and service for the game.

I’m at US East Coast and have experiencing a massive lag. Got 8GB of RAM, 3.5ghz Six Core, 970GTX and getting around 20 - 120 fps. And I am talking about B2P (Buy to Play) not P2P. I just want ToS to provide better servers and service. (Maybe IP Bans) LOL

We’ll see how it goes, I mean look at NCSoft’s Servers most F2P did nothing to their servers.

Being B2P isn’t generally going hand in hand with better service. It’s all about how IMC plans to move on with the game.
While it helps with population and steady income, it can also just straight out kill the game.

There are enough examples for good F2P/B2P but also bad ones. It’s all about the ‘how’
