Making a party isn't for just one character anymore?

So, finally the party creation works again. But, it seems that if you make a party on one character, all your other characters are in that same party. I honestly don’t like this feature for the fact of my different characters being different levels. If I’m playing with my friend and helping her grind on a lower lever character, I don’t want my higher level to be affiliated with that party so that I can go grind my higher level with higher level people. I could understand this feature being okay for guilds, but not so much for partying considering that partying isn’t a guild and partying is temporary and differs for each character.

I play on Zemyna and I realized this happened after the Tuesday patch on the 10th.

This is due to the max limit on parties, currently so many parties existed that no more parties could be created, and so this system helps reduce the amount of parties.

EDIT: It should be just for beta purposes, same as only 1 channel on higher level maps, pets not dying and so on.

Makes sense. It just makes it harder for my to grind when trying to help my friend grind.

I’m confused. When you switch characters cant you just leave the party? Haven’t joined a party since the patch so idk if im understanding correctly.

Yeah you can just leave the party and make a new one. This really isnt a big deal. Or you can invite them to your current party, it has no impact on XP unless one of the high levels in ur pt came to stare at u grinding. Bigger issues to deal with than this. However personally i like this feature as currently i play exclusively with my girlfriend. So when we switch from mains to our alts, were automatically grouped. :smile:

I get that, but the problem being is that when I leave my party, I won’t be partied with my friend anymore to party with higher leveled people in order to properly grind on my main. Then when I want to help my friend grind, I’ll have to leave the party with my higher-leveled friends to help her grind and keep switching back and forth. It’s just inconvenient for me since I have people I play with that are at different points of the game.

This feature has been there since day 1 of the beta.
