Make pets unable to acquire targets if the player is not moving or attacking

First off, I am a 242 sorc/necro2, and this legal exploit has given me some 25 million silver for zero effort, and it could theoretically carry me to maximum of my attributes.

So keep that in mind when I say that I think this needs to stop. It’s bad for the economy, and the bee farm will soon host hundreds of characters trying to do this. The new meta for botters is multi-boxing and leeching up 5+ sorc farmers in a selfish attempt to control every bee on an entire channel.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

I propose that pets no longer acquire targets and attack without the player interacting with the game world in a meaningful way, such as moving around, casting spells, or attacking targets.

Obviously the same people will just go back to illegal botting in the same zone, but at least they could be hypothetically banned for doing so, unlike the current situation which is legal and broken.

I agree,
But just considering illegal the afk farm would be fine as first step

That creates more reports for the GM team to handle, and it’s difficult to figure out who’s actually AFK and who’s watching anime or something. If I’m paying attention to the game, I’m playing, and there’s nothing wrong with that, even if how I’m playing is pretty lazy.

The multibox ■■■■ that’s getting started is, on the other hand, not at all justifiable.

You mean like this? when before it was like this

Apparently only I was nerfed. Sad day.

Pets and summons? Yes.

I’m willing to say that this shouldn’t apply to Bokor or Necro though. Kill two birds with one stone by also making it so that players can’t target the pet too when it’s in this “mode”. This would eliminate the problem of dead player pets being a target in pvp for alive players and ruining the clutch 1v1 fights.

It’ll take away the afk farming sure but that’ll change them to a higher maintenance cleric bot with big guns tagging along them, the current ToS bot tracker already has it hard telling heads or tails on those clerics.

So you’d want this to be not allowed after you’ve milked it youself huh?

Milking it as we speak. It needs to go away, regardless.
