2x event feels like too much, maybe half this double exp event and most people should still feel content but not demoralized. it feels effortless at the moment to level, no point in picking up quests till 110 at this rate

How to kill a game quickly: have everyone reach the max level as fast as possible without enough endgame features to keep people entertained

To be fair, there is a balance issue with EXP. Cards are far more beneficial compared to grinding, which kind of makes grinding itself feel like a waste of time. Even with the current increased rates on monster EXP, they feel pathetic compared to cards.

Going forward, this might be something worth reviewing.

… its just so people can test classes, these characters will be wiped anyway.

You didnt read did you? He wants the current exp rate to be default, ie keep the exp rate for obt / release. Im well aware all progress is being wiped

O i read it just mis understood it though when he said make the current rates default, i thought he meant he wanted them to lower it back to the default rate. Misinterpretation on my part.

No problem, happens to everyone once in a while

My wishful suggestion is not without taking into consideration the current quality of the quests and mob AI and other leveling nuisance. Hence, if the leveling/progressing meta on this game will stay the same I would be enjoying the current rates. I think it is also a preference on my part, hoping that there will be an end game content to enjoy for a lifetime. That is how I see it. I respect everyone’s perspective on it.

So people can go from level 1 to 75 in a day? No thanks.

Even without the doubled rates we have now, early game progresses very quickly.I know they have 600 as the planned max level, but you want that to be a reason people have to play the game for a very long time.It would be too easy to get to endgame if things stayed this way,and that’s bad for the game.

They need a good balance lower than this but not as low as first test.

Now i didnt play in the first test, but i can somewhat understand what the rate must’ve been like.
Maybe increase the base exp rate by 40-50%, dont know if the exp cards exp changed since first cbt, i’d say keep them as it is.

The rates were abysmal, but it was to keep us in lower level areas to test. Most people were lucky to get anywhere near 80-100.I think less than a handful actually did.

how long was that cbt again? 1 week? i dont think level 100 in one week is too bad, but ofc that deppends how much time was acctually played, level 100 in a week with 8 hours a day would be totally acceptable imo

The problem isn’t with the exp rate, the problem is the lack of channel to grind and the lack of ways to grind. Personally I only see 2 or 3 choice to grind for exp which is field mobs, dungeon raid, and exp cards (is there more that I’ve missed?). There should be more, perhaps something creative to make it a bit more fun in getting exp.

Yes,it was a week long.

That may be true if you had the time, but most people didn’t/don’t have that amount of time to dedicate to it.Not really the point anyway.
