MachineGun Build - AOE choices

My current build is A2 QS3 and I am getting close to R6.
I really like my current machine gun. Running shot + kneeling is pretty decent. I found out that turret playstyle is very fun for me.

What I am looking for in my next 2 ranks is AOE. So far I came to the conclusion that my choices are:

Facloner + A3 :Gives: lvl 10 kneeling shot, 15 lvl multishot with circling turns into AOE

Falconer + Canoneer : AOE - Is Falconer needed with canoneer tho ?

Schwarze reiter c2 - AOE that looks annoying to use but how it is practice?

Which of those would be best for general gameplay at high level maps? Can someone experienced tell me pros/cons of those ranks?

Not sure A3 worth just for maxed kneeling shot, and lvl 15 multishot is waaaaay to slow to pull out with that animation, really, lvl 10 is just better.
BUT if like being a turret( I like too S2!), it is not a waste anyway.

Falc+cannon is nice, a regular build that will help you A LOT clearing mobs.

SR2: not saying it is not good to have retreatshot lvl 10, but you will really miss C3, marching fire is one of the best skills in the game for aoe, if not the best. You could go SR C3, what is another regular build.

well, if you wanna just go with filler classes the next 2 ranks I would recomendo you to go falconer+rogue, or scout, flare shot is decent aoe.

Actually, have you considered take falc+rogue because of sneakhit? you could use werewolf cards(or just go behind the boss) and crit like the real boss, plus you would not need to go high dex.

Yeah, SR need all 3 ranks to be viable at r8.

Cannoner, on the other hand, only need 2, plus it would be able to conjunct kneel shot and cannon in the future, making a3 q3 c2 kinda viable machine cannon.

In fact I kinda wanna try one. Really got addicted to kneel shot + running shot, but the weak point of this bd is the terrible 1-target limit. Cannoner exactly solve this problem.

PS: Falconer does NOT make QS3 auto attack become aoe. Archer’s main hand weapon has no aoe attack ratio scaling at all, which is terrible.

R: Sooo, sometimes you will find yourself struggling to use retreat shot, cause ppl dont give a F%$# about where the mobs are, and we need a wall, which is not always there. Oblique shot and caracole helps a little, but… You know… To use retreashott at full potential we NEEEEED a wall.

Unless it’s changed, [bazooka] doesn’t use the atk speed you gain from [running shot].

And about [retreat shop], you have your own personal wall in [deploy pavise]. Sure it dismounts, but it’s a wall anywhere you want.

The new banelings from wug3 could be good (specially if they can crit). Maybe?

Falconer 3 is nice too. You get a decent aoe in auto [sonic strike] + [aiming] (with both skills having 100% uptime). It’s more sustained aoe instead of burst.

A2-QS3 is still extremely common, be it low level or 220 level ish. I don’t see as much QS3 at 270+ range though.

That’s what I mean. Who wants to stay below 200 forever?
