You speak as if you couldn’t do R8 content without transcending. I’ve done most of R8 content without any 270/315 equipment and no transcending because I love playing alts and always switch my equips from a char to the other. You don’t need 8 alts to support a main unless you, for some reason, feel the need to be top 1 in everything. If one could beat 20F with R7 content equipment, you can still do it now

@Nicola I have both +15 DGC & +15 Isbality.And i already tested it. I think Isbality better than DGC in every way. ^^ my build is Archer c2/Ranger C3/ SR C2, Lv 243.

Prob better now the gems buff and 3 sockets. At rank 7 isbality only better against demon-type. If you actually test +15 and trans DGC is better dued to higher base physical damage and crit attack.

Help guys, I don’t know which weapon to choose

First thing: I’m not interested in the 315 orange weapons, this is just a 4fun alt that deserves some love but not that much, lol

Character is a Archer 2 Sapper 2 Scout 1 Falconer 3 (millions of low base damage multi-hits + sonic strike), 100 str invested, some con, high dex DEX

So, 315 xbow vs 2hbow. Correct me if I’m wrong about those numbers or missing something

Stats:
315 BOW
520 - 781

  • 148 MIN
  • 246 MAX
    ACC 8
    CRIT RATE 32
    or
    XBOW
    502 - 555
    +102 MIN
    +211 MAX
    +16 str
    +28 dex

Numbers:
TRANS LV = 3 +60%, +6 anvil (not going to invest much, still have attributes to max and anothers chars to feed)
Bow:
650 (average)+77(anvil) +130 (squire) +60% (shards) = 1371
1371 + 197 (avg) bonus
= 1568 atk + 32 Critical rate (40 cr on SS)
+10% damage (or attack) from the hidden two handed bonus damage? (not sure how that one works)
**++ flying monster slaughter
*+stronger awakening

Xbow:
530 (avg)+77(anv)+130(sq) +60% (tr) = 1179
1179+156(avg) bonus = 1335 + str
= 1351 ATK +28 CR (on SS)
{mana-mana} = +278 lgt dmg, 43CR + red gem lv 6 = +145 atk
= 1496 ATK
Or {shield} +290 atk and a decent def, mdef +CON
+def reduction Xbow atrib? how it works? How decent this bonus is vs r8 mobs?
CONS: poor man Light Goritos /Khasti Bow for flying mobs

Well, assuming a Light Goritos could do well on occasional flying mobs, the 315 xbow seems a better options for me (flexibility to use a shield, more evasion and manamana) besides doing slightly less damage.

What’s the consensus from our archers players on this forum? Thanks for reading

falconer3 means you will be support char, ergo needs high survivability. Go pick silver hawk+didel tower shield or isbality+ lionhead shield, or silverhawk+lionhead shield (best option but need 2 practonium)

I find it surprising.
+15 didel grand cross http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/183110/ only get 25more damage compared to +15 isbality http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/184101/ if tosfanbase is right.
It’s a matter of - 120 beast damage / 340 bonus damage devil / 134 critical attack.
If you are not quarrel shooter build, isbality will always win because gems rework +1 more slot gem.
If you are Quarrel shooter 3, hf to catch up the loss of 80% damage from running shot unless you are full dex lol.

DGC = 564 at +15 better with transcendence
+134 crit attack = 698
Isbality = 475 at +15
+340 on demon = 815
if not it’s = 475

but the problem here is gem buff, Isbality has 3 sockets while DGC has 2, you can put in 1 extra yellow gems and Isbality would have already be better.

Isbality wins

But back in Rank 7 I still prefered DGC :stuck_out_tongue: just personal pref.

Hi guys, i just transcended stage2 my Isbality 2 dyas ago after i tested it with +15 DGC.
today i tested it again with Vubbe Thief (Beast and Earth element). *** -120 atk on my Isbality. ***

my build is Archer c2/Ranger C3/ SR C2 (i’m not QS)

Thoughts on this calcu? I’ve tried Isbality vs DGC. DGC > Isbality but it only calculate dmg output (must be for auto attack). We can help him to update his calc as well :slight_smile:
