Heās just dumb. If one does not agree with him heās a BR. And he probably hates onāem just because his life must suck so much that gives him the need to vent out his anger. As i said before, heās probably a loner who lives inside a dark basement. I bet he doesnāt even make his own food.

@hawsonsc Heās that kind of guy. Iām also not lvl 100 yet, because i study, i work and i have a life. Heās the kind of guy that thinks that everyone plays 5+h a day and has all the time in the world to lvl. That just serves to further improve my theory that he lives in a basement and has no life.
To those who are experiencing some screen freeze issues, check out this thread I posted earlier. Itās not a 100% fix for all, but it has worked as a temporary remedy for some people whoāve tried it while IMC is doing their best to weed our all MP spammers. It wonāt hurt to try. āLikeā it if it helped you.

Level 40 might work out. I donāt think the spam bots and the farm bots are likely to be on the same account - they expect the spam accounts to be banned much, much faster than their bots.

Yeah, level 40 is a low restrictions, but it should help.
They will level a character maybe and once they come to 40, they will be kicked. There wonāt be too many cases of them to deal with, so they can deal with whatever passes over 40.
Those that donāt will continue spamming in general chat.
Level 60-80 and imminent banhammer afterwards would work flawlessy. If there was an actual ingame way of reporting them. Plus a cooldown on use, I donāt give a crap about people having discussions over megaphones or these āsomething nationā kiddos spaming crap. It should work as an advertisement system, and one shout is enough to advertise anything youād want.
around 75 would be better, its easy to get there if you are really playing and sucks for this sellers to level up everytime(if they get ban)
level 40 is a start, but is realy fast to reachā¦
and a cooldown on the microphone would be nice too
@lindenmeyer I donāt think a cooldown would work very much, i played some B&S with my buddy the other day, and the goldsellers there used 1 char per post. Itās like 1 char created per second o_O

People of the post you do understand not sure if you do that this lv 40 restriction is a foundation they could very well go into the file if they tested and it shows its not working at lv 40 change the very number of the restriction you do know that right it works similar to a filter list by adding into the section blocked words by adding another word then hey presto that new word is blocked.
Lv 40 should be okay if they follow up with some ban hammer actionā¦

And also, YES, lvl 40 is low. But there are plenty of limitations on this game already, just letās see how it works.

I donāt mind trying to get rid of the spammers but a Level cap of 100?? Iāve been playing as and when I can since game start and I have not reached L100 yet. Think raising the cap would end up scorch earthing the purpose of the shout system itself. It (may) stop the spammersā¦ and a lot of the players themselves.
If you want to keep raising the level cap, why not 200?
Or just not have the shout system itself? Itās the same end result. With all the difficulty of selling, finding parties etc that implies.
Even now, I think the level cap is a questionable solution as it is usually the newbies that need help e.g āWhere is X NPCā or āWhere is the collections box for area Xā.
Dont be a baby man and think out of the box, itās a game for the comunity, do you really think everything they do is forever? Omg. If you dont like how the game goes leave, is simple. But cry babyās is really sad.
