I’m currently lvl 125 and I’m stuck with Cafrisun Set+6. So I’m deciding to get Legwyn Family’s Leather Armor Set. Is it time to change an armor or shall I just wait till lvl 170 for Roxona?

if you are auto attack dps you should stay with cafrisun

Stick with Cafrisun set for now. At Lv170+, get a full Plate set for increased DEF if needed. No need to break the bank. Here’s a cheap set that I use:
Knight Armor
Knight Leggings
*Roxona Plate Gauntlets - The only Roxona piece worth getting imo.
Superior Infantry Greaves
I’d still keep the Cafrisun set to switch to when the extra DPS is needed, like boss fights.
Just upgrade your casifrun to +15. The pieces and upgrades are really cheap, free feel to break them a lot.
Why bother with upgrading Cafrisun set though? The stat increase is very minimal. I wouldn’t even bother upgrading the higher level armor sets either. Just buy the highest item level gear for your level tier. The only thing worth the upgrade are the weapons.
Because casifrun bonus is almost irremplaceable. And the refine bonus indeed helps a little to survive.

Since we are talking about QS gear, how about weapons? I supposed manamana is a priority. Main hand?
Well my main hand is grand cross+10 with arde dagger as off-hand. Should I upgrade my cafrisun set to +10-15 or just stick with +6? Cause I’m starting to think on getting Legwyn Family’s Leather Armor Set due to its better defense and stats especially the gloves with 77 accuracy and crit rate stats.
well for cafrisun, its really really cheap to upgrade it.
Even if you get to +14, it only costs about 9.5k to attempt to get it to +15. And it has 42 durability, so you have lots of attempts stored
And @ +15, its +55 defense, putting its total to 66def, compared to lv170 roxona leather armor+0 is 64def.
I agree I wouldn’t upgrade the high level armors, if only because its so damn expensive at that stage. Risking 5-7mil just to get an extra 80def isn’t worth it at that stage.
But maybe 200k maybe for an extra 50def, sure if you feel like throwing some at it.

iirc they all have 5 potential so that is 5 attempts. not worth your golden anvils tbh. but a leave 1 potential for gem if you want
So what’s the best thing to do here? Continue with Cafrisun Set +10-15 or get Legwyn Family’s Leather Armor Set??

tbh i have a qs3 myself and used cafri set til 190ishn and they are just +3.
i always have pardoner buffs to make my life easier. [blessing doesnt last long for AA types, so aspersion+sacrament]
make sure you have extra plate set for archer mobs and or cloth set for mages.
that’s me btw because i was saving up for sissels and mana2.
if i have a +10 GC, when do i switch to other non-DGC xbows?
lvl 190. iirc somebody in this forum mentioned that a +5 catacombs shooter has similar dmg output (or even better) than the +15 GC with RS

You’re right about it helping “just a little.” You’re an Archer taking advantage of the full Leather set for Evasion. If you’re still taking hits, then switch to the full Armor set like I suggested. It’s really that simple. I’m pointing out that it’s not really that necessary to sink Silver into something so trivial.

A2-QS3-SR1… I still use cafrisun set, really useful for AutoAttack (buff sacrament all the time), I dont think it need to upgrade too much for cafrisun, feel waste of money for little def, keep silver for attribute or orange eqiupment is better for me
my 210 QS3 is still using +4/+5 cafrisun set… but i do have an alternate set of survival armor set for him

Just buy a plate armor set for your level and you should be set for survival. Roxona is just luxury
