Finally the main source of atk is put on the weapons, not armor, as it should be. However, this asks for an overhaul of the weapon gem system.
Blue/red gems are giving roughly 3k atk if you use eight level 10 ones, which was fine when weapons were providing 80k atk, but are now really underwhelming because the weapons provide 5x more atk. Please consider changing from a flat bonus to a percentage (0.1% per gem level for example).
Aether gems are pretty much useless except CON ones. Cost of opening an aether socket is exorbitant (200 superior shards and 50 of the new mats that won’t be used to improve the plusses of the equipment) and it’s definitely not worth investing these precious resources for a gem that will provide 400 STR/INT or roughly 1600 extra atk when you have 400x that value as base atk.
