Losing my Hype Factor For The Game

Honestly, I just wish that they give us a damn release date already. So I can find the damn time to work around my ■■■■■■■ schedule to even be able to play this game at all. Just having “Soon” doesn’t help at all, especially when someone wants to play a game but doesn’t have that amounted time due to LIFE. This is why my hype factor for this game is dropping really fast, because the game has a good concept and such. Problem that i have with it is the marketing of it. I honestly remembered articles somewhere talking about ‘Simultaneous Releases of both version’ but never specified if its in the same year or if its really same day; however, it should really be same day and year. Then the bugs, honestly, in my opinion, most should had never happened at all, because during ICBT2, i was primarily waiting for ALL INTENDED CONTENT AND CHANGES to be within ICBT2 so it can be tested. However, we never did get it, even with sudden change in currency (now that was a huge mistake for IMC imo, because it should had been implemented at the very beginning of the test vs middle). And then we get to this announcement where its been said that a lot of things has been missed in ICBT2. To be Frank, as a tester in ICBT2, I was expecting that Kcbt 3 content patch to fix up some problems that was occuring during ICBT2, even if the translations were all not up to where it should be. Now this is where i questioned if the combat and classes were indeed truly even fixed at all in kcbt 1-3 and Icbt 1. If it really was, there shouldn’t had been too much problems with ICBT2 and the demands for a fix.

Now i understand that IMC needed to make a OBT for KNexon, because of Nexon being their publisher in KR. But, thats where it started to kill the game for me. I honestly did expect the simultaneous release to be screwed up by Nexon, but i did not anticipate it to be this bad. + what made it worse imo was the fact that the ICBT2 was EXTENDED longer than it should have. Especially with not all implemented content.

Now, before you guys go bashing at this topic, please understand that, this is my opinion and that i truly desire to play this game. But because of how things are progressing, I’m starting to have my doubts towards these developers. Even as of now, after i asked the friends that i played with during ICBT2, they did tell me that they may not come back and play the game. Whats even worse is getting a reply from a friend saying that his buddies may not even play IOBT due to the content being “Boring” when his buddies played in KOBT/Release. Now that’s where it scares me about the game, especially when players begin to think that way. Where content itself is not as immersive as it seems. Honestly, even if IMC do fix these bugs and attempt to polish it up… the game will never be polished. It’s just the fact that games don’t become polished in a matter of months, it takes time to understand what needs to be fixed and generally… when something gets fixed, another thing breaks.

Overall, i just need a set date so my Hype Factor for this game doesn’t just drop to 0 once it finally releases. Well, i think most of us just really want that set release date. Being able to prepare ahead of time for that set release date will really help me out as to not get ■■■■■■ by life. + it really helps me get this game off my mind for awhile and focus on other things rather than having my head say “Hey! This game just said soon for release date… You should continuously check the website until that release date is set.” Yea… its pretty fun waiting for a game without a set release date… Hmmm reminds me of Core Masters with a COMING SOON for 2-3 years to even be released globally and then failing because they took too long. Welp, sigh to this game.

Em i dont know why you cry… Its like you dont have other reason to live than waiting for TOS… You dont have to spend each hour, each minute of your life here. Just log once per week to see if there is new info about it if not - go back to your life.
You will rehype when we get date.

Some people can’t really stand the waiting… Just do what you want in the time being.

You probably will receive an email announcing the OBT, and even if you don’t, rest assured that checking the OBT date won’t help you to log in sooner than next person.

Once they put a date, you can expect a week or two from then.

Of course, not to mention the first day issues… Queues, maybe new servers, channels overflowing with players, walking in town at 2fps…

So yeah, nothing that really makes it worth prioritizing the release date over your life…

Come on, really.

So in short you want a release date but at the same time not a rushed game with lots of bugs? Just a question… if IMC announced tomorrow ToS would be released on Dec 2016 would you be completely fine with it?

tl;dr
I wonder if this is the first time he quit loudly? Nervous kids tend to do it quite often.
And I cannot fully agree with @rhedewayhke. I don’t want to lose such a great source of tears. They are so sweet for me.

Your just having your periods or tantrum,I bet you that you will stay play the game LMAO.

If you had a “Life” like you said and a heavy schedule you would’t write a wall of text and you would be too busy with “LiFE” to even feel the wait for OBT.You actually writing how you loss the hype shows you got nothing to do in life but to wait for the game. And the fact that you can’t get a specific date it’s driving you insane so you lash out here on forums.[quote=“joshua_xiong66, post:1, topic:142889”]

Right there you just admit it that all you can think about is TOS,why can’t you still focus on other things, your that obsess?

I’m sure people are thinking about TOS a lot but to the point that your whining for IMC to give us a date…cmon man grow up.If you got schedule for work, school or wtv then let those be your priority and not a video game.TOS is not going to run away from you so take care of your business and play when you can it’s not a race -_-.

I know people that work 6 days a week and still manage to do something they enjoy in life. Not like you or anybody winning is going to help IMC release it any faster.

Actually, I would be quite fine with that. It’s better than waiting a game that says Coming Soon for 2-3 years and having production for that game to be shutdown before even coming out globally.

Its due to the fact that I’m looking for a home game and TOS just pretty much fits in with it being a home game.

What is the worst possible scenario that can happen to you if you had to wait for TOS to release OBT?

I understand the notion you’re getting across by making this thread, for I participated in ICBT 1 & 2 and the release date tease has people hyped and curious to the official release. I’m certain that they will inform us ahead of time once everything is prepared. Sure, coming back here 1-3 times a day to check if the date is confirmed is tiring, but we must understand that we demand a game that isn’t a knockoff. Everyone wants something from IMC that they are taking out of their time to consider and debate whether it is capable of putting it in, for those who make significant suggestions. The release in Korea had set them back for sure, I agree, and there had been bugs, exploits and other nonsense drama happening over there and some of that happened in the international betas. This all takes time and whether you put faith in IMC or not is totally up to you. This isn’t a bashing but a response from someone who understands but decides to lock down and see how things work. There are other things I can do and making countless threads about my hype isn’t pushing the progress forward, but giving suggestions and preparing is something I would do while I go about my life. Patience, my friend.

It has been literately 4-5 days (depending on your location)

I dont see why you are overeacting, or even losing hype.

Sure, having a set date is nice, but they didn’t probably estimate when the game would be properly be finished and prepared for OBT. The game is still facing some issues and would get resolved on a later date. I have seen posts in which they are expecting the game to be released this week, next week or the week after that simply because 90% English translations are done and the game is already being prepared for Steam.

Some people in this thread really know how to make people turn away from a game

Its fine and normal to lose your hype. Hype does nothing for you, just play when its out, or not, your choice. I think you’ll have more fun not being hyped.
