Honestly, I just wish that they give us a damn release date already. So I can find the damn time to work around my ■■■■■■■ schedule to even be able to play this game at all. Just having “Soon” doesn’t help at all, especially when someone wants to play a game but doesn’t have that amounted time due to LIFE. This is why my hype factor for this game is dropping really fast, because the game has a good concept and such. Problem that i have with it is the marketing of it. I honestly remembered articles somewhere talking about ‘Simultaneous Releases of both version’ but never specified if its in the same year or if its really same day; however, it should really be same day and year. Then the bugs, honestly, in my opinion, most should had never happened at all, because during ICBT2, i was primarily waiting for ALL INTENDED CONTENT AND CHANGES to be within ICBT2 so it can be tested. However, we never did get it, even with sudden change in currency (now that was a huge mistake for IMC imo, because it should had been implemented at the very beginning of the test vs middle). And then we get to this announcement where its been said that a lot of things has been missed in ICBT2. To be Frank, as a tester in ICBT2, I was expecting that Kcbt 3 content patch to fix up some problems that was occuring during ICBT2, even if the translations were all not up to where it should be. Now this is where i questioned if the combat and classes were indeed truly even fixed at all in kcbt 1-3 and Icbt 1. If it really was, there shouldn’t had been too much problems with ICBT2 and the demands for a fix.
Now i understand that IMC needed to make a OBT for KNexon, because of Nexon being their publisher in KR. But, thats where it started to kill the game for me. I honestly did expect the simultaneous release to be screwed up by Nexon, but i did not anticipate it to be this bad. + what made it worse imo was the fact that the ICBT2 was EXTENDED longer than it should have. Especially with not all implemented content.
Now, before you guys go bashing at this topic, please understand that, this is my opinion and that i truly desire to play this game. But because of how things are progressing, I’m starting to have my doubts towards these developers. Even as of now, after i asked the friends that i played with during ICBT2, they did tell me that they may not come back and play the game. Whats even worse is getting a reply from a friend saying that his buddies may not even play IOBT due to the content being “Boring” when his buddies played in KOBT/Release. Now that’s where it scares me about the game, especially when players begin to think that way. Where content itself is not as immersive as it seems. Honestly, even if IMC do fix these bugs and attempt to polish it up… the game will never be polished. It’s just the fact that games don’t become polished in a matter of months, it takes time to understand what needs to be fixed and generally… when something gets fixed, another thing breaks.
Overall, i just need a set date so my Hype Factor for this game doesn’t just drop to 0 once it finally releases. Well, i think most of us just really want that set release date. Being able to prepare ahead of time for that set release date will really help me out as to not get ■■■■■■ by life. + it really helps me get this game off my mind for awhile and focus on other things rather than having my head say “Hey! This game just said soon for release date… You should continuously check the website until that release date is set.” Yea… its pretty fun waiting for a game without a set release date… Hmmm reminds me of Core Masters with a COMING SOON for 2-3 years to even be released globally and then failing because they took too long. Welp, sigh to this game.
