Looking for good anime (post-apo, cyberpunk, steampunk maybe?)

Hello, I had long break from any cartoons and animes but right now I need something to watch when I will be eating my dinner… anyone knows something really good really nice and really interesting :D?
I would like something like: Psycho Pass or Shingeki no Kyoujin or maybe some other post-apo setting ^_^.
Any ideas?

There is 2 suggestions I have that would be called Blood Blockade Battlefront or Mobile Suit Gundam : Iron-blooded Orphans. Some interesting shows to take in. Mobile suit gundam one is kinda slow on the start up but I quite enjoyed it myself. I don’t know how others feel on it.

I’m not rly into mecha… but this 2nd title seems nice, I will give it a try ^_^!
If anyone else has any helpful advices… then come on! I urge you to write it here :D!

Ever heard of Assassination Classroom? Or maybe one called God Eater but its only 9 episodes till winter starts up because of problems.

You said cyber punk in the title and didn’t tell me not to recommend Ghost in the Shell so ghost in the shell. Go watch Stand Alone Complex. And enjoy Tachikoma’s contemplating the meaning of individuality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkb8_eMs8Jg

If you want new stuff Dimension W is leaning towards cyberpunk themes. With one of the primary protagonist being wholly artificial.

Both of those are dystopian in their own ways. But I they don’t include full scale apocs. At least not yet.

You can try Last Exile! Bokurano:Ours (slight post-apo). Tokyo Magnitude. I forgot my list. Meh.

Hahaha… this Tachikomas are hilarious :D! Will have to try it out… although I prefer japanese dubbing over English :D… but it sounds great :D.

Thanks for all your suggestions… I will have to check them all… IT will take some time… ugh :D… but anyway thanks, you are great :D!

Best community ever, period :D!

■■■■ i forgot that one lol, the sequel is nice too.

Seen most of stuff mentioned here. Things like Ghost In The Shell, Akira, are bang on, what you looking for.
I can add CowboyBeepop to the list of classics.

Will try to list some gems I found over the years:
(All are worth anybody’s time in my opinion, smart interesting well animated, and good stories)

-N o e i n-
Not sure would this count as post apocalyptic since its about dimensional / time travel of dying world. kind of post apocalyptic since characters travel between the two.
( Not many people know about this anime but in my opinion its amazing )

-Texhnolyze-
Post-apocalyptic ? perhaps, the semi-future japan setting give that feeling.
Strong male lead (Not in terms of super powers or whatever, but hes not a wimp hes a tough cool guy) drama.

-From the New World-
Post-apocalyptic far far future.
Mystery, adventure, all humans develop or should I say awaken psychic powers at early age, group of friends are trying to solve the mystery, of psychic powers uncovering dark truth about the history of world they live in.

Something from a different genre but still amazing:

-Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom-
Bourne ultimatum kind of style, with main lead becoming brain washed into a hitman working for the “organization” very good action drama, amazing character development.

I have seen Texhnolyze… great anime but… you have to be really in good zone to watch this. It’s so heavy! Seriously. I never saw such a Heavy anime. Even Neon Genesis Evangelion didn’t gave me that feel.
Hey, can you tell me a little more about Noein? I think I heard about it and I heard something good about it… but I’m not sure if it’s what I have in mind.

I don’t want to talk to much about Noein without spoiling it, however its about a group of people tied by fate, trying to save the space dimensional time as they interact with each other different dimensions, (Dimensional time lines) its hard to describe it, without spoiling it. Some good future fight scenes. Nothing over the top. I wouldn’t consider it especially heavy but more like a good story one.

Also some really nice suggestions in this thread, I finally even might find something to watch.

From @Gunnr list I can vouch for this ones being a safe bet to consider:

Vampire Hunter D Wolfs Rain Gurren Lagann Trigun

thanks.

By the way, my friend said I should watch One Punch Man
What do you think about this?

Ye its good actually, many people enjoyed it recently. Its a new anime that finished just like a month ago or so.

Great, amazing animations, the fight scenes are fantastic. Anime has many great characters that you literally fall in love with moment you see them.

The weak point is the story, tho.

However everything else is so good it dosnt matter,
some very nice comedy and music that makes you shout

ONEEEEE PUUUNNNCHHHHHH!! xDD

The story tho…well you cant expect anything amazing based of an web comic not an actual manga, not that I actual read manga or anything.

Oh girl you hit one that is awesome!
