Looking for archer build based on auto attacks and using 2h bow

just like in title.

I want to make archer alt (pve/pvp)

I’m not into xbow/guns/cannons and other stuff. just classic old school bow so I need help with archer build:

  • using only bow or mostly bow
  • focused mostly on AA not on spamming skills 24/7 and drinking mana potions like addicted alcoholic = so no fletcher please
  • possible scout class = because I like this class costume + cloaking is love (assassin player from RO here)

Nothing else changes your attack speed, besides Running Shot from QS c3

could technically use the cookie cutter QS3 builds with a classic bow, but it would just be subpar rank 5/6 running shot vs 7/8 using grand cross variant xbows

I read somewhere that the wugu main weapon is a 2h bow, and a planned archer character of mine is A2/QS3/W2. something to consider, Although I would probably use a grand cross variant on non-flying targets.

edit: meant to say a very specific 2h bow, cant remember which one someone mentioned though.

If the build don’t have skill-related weapon restriction, most people will have both 2h bow and xbow+element sub and switch depend on situation

Autoattack QS3 build is still fine with a 2H bow, it just needs to be Viper, which isn’t equippable until 170.

Put your typical Cafrisun set + element property attack headgear on as per usual with any autoattack builds.

is cafrisun set still a drop once you hit 170 and start getting roxona or w/e like it is with other classes based around autos?

also, what makes viper the clear cut answer? is there any alternatives or equal choices?

People use Viper for the Poison Property Attack.

As for alternatives, there are a couple of 120 Bows + another 170 Bow in the game’s item database (note that this means they may not even be obtainable), but they only have between 32-38 element property attack. Not worth it esp. versus just having an Arde Dagger on you.

And honestly, Cafrisun can be used for quite a while after 170, it’s dropped only when players don’t feel the benefit enough from its extra hit vs. its armor stats anymore.

@lukiner666 honestly Archer does not get more simple than Quarrel Shooter 3, just always have Running Shot activated and AA everything and that is 90% of the entire class. If you can bear with having to use a crossbow between the levels of 75-90 (whenever you get an arde dagger) and 170 then that’s it, really.
