Login error FIX!

Someone on reddit posted a fix and it worked! here it is:

  1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release
  2. Right click on user.xml and edit
  3. Change Resolution mode=“1” for Resolution mode=“2” (this will make the game run windowed)
  4. Open the game
  5. Pick any server and as soon as you hit Enter press close at the top right and a new window will pop, wait for 5-10 seconds.
  6. Press Cancel

You should be looking at your character selection menu.

The client hanged now its says that same error about the GPU and etc. even if I try to do the same steps. Any suggestions?

You shouldnt get to that point, you need to press the X before the error pops

It worked perfectly for me but now after getting a timeout i get the message “Cannot connect to the server”
Any idea of a reason/solution?

try pressing ALT+F4 after clicking on “Enter”

Well this works for me in the first time…
But later when the servers are full maybe this doesnt work (? …
Now before to play, the game was patched on my pc, maybe the bug was fixed… i don’t know, but thanks :smile:
I hope this gets fixed for everyone, with a real solution (Y)

well it worked for me after the patch. i just relogged and did it again cause im not sure if the log in error was fixed. then just went back to fullscreen mode again without a problem
