Loading screens are constantly stalling at 95%

First, I recognize that this isn’t the proper place for this. But I am unable to make posts in the bug report forums.

For the past 3 days or so, whenever I change zones the loading screen always seems to stall out when the little goblin miner is almost all the way across the screen. The game itself freezes and if I try to click anywhere on the screen Windows asks if I want to wait for the program to respond or to force it to quit.

If I select wait it’s usually about a minute of waiting and the loading will finish, but sometimes the client will just crash entirely.

Is anyone else having a similar issue? I’ve had this issue on two separate computers and at two separate locations. Both computers run windows 10 and the latest nvidia drivers. I am tempted to switch to an older nvidia driver since that seems to be the most recent change atleast on my end.

Yes, i’m having this problem too. Sometimes it works like it should but, today i’m suffering from this.

I also have that issue, glad its no my pcs fault if other people experience the same xD

Same. happens 30% of the time for me though.

This should be in Bug Reports. I can confirm this being an issue in KCBT3 as well

i dont think the game acctually freezes, next time it happens can you try moving the mouse over the bottom right corner where your menu buttons or hotkeys would be? it sounds like the bug im having:

This has happened to be a lot of times when I alt+tab right after clicking a scroll or klaipeda stone and I need to force quit the game : (

Sorry to ressurect this post, but has anyone found a solution for this? It’s happening right for me every single loading screen! It’s annoying because it can take over 1 minute after the bar is already at 95%…

Try restarting your computer?

That’s what eventually fixed it for me.
