List of newest wiz farmer build (R9)

dont forget about AOE attack ratio pots from alchemist, they increase AOE attack ratio by 3 for 90seconds. Its pretty good to have alchemist now.

clarifications about the resets, is it 2 resets if you have linker, and another 2 if you have falconer also or just 2 resets if you have either or?

Just 2 resets were given if you had any of it. Reset voucher (14 days) per team.

tyvm, I already have a linker but I also have an archer in reset state that’s why I asked lol. I am still interested in hunter3-falconer3 but because I have not decided on an r9 circle for it I am leaving it like that for awhile longer.

I have a farmer full int wiz>pyro1>linker2>thauma3>ench2 but I don’t really like it because I have a support wiz>pyro3>chrono3>ench2 full dex and i like fast AA way better.

So the farmer I want to reset it with lvl 360 rank reset.
I hate FF getting interrupted and wasting the overheat.

I’m thinking of a full spr wiz>pyro>link2>thauma3>shadow2. How is the SP if I go full spr ?
If it is bad I guess sorc1 is really needed ? I should drop 1 rank of linker then.

If I go the sage version I need to be full int right ? Because damage will be way too low and high cooldown

Is it possible to do a wiz2>link1>thauma3>necro3 farmer ?
Full int if I use flesh cannon more or spr if I want better skeletons

My main is wiz>cryo2>psy1>sorc2>rc>shadow2 full spr and I really like it.
But I don’t really want to have the same wiz as a farmer even tho shadowmancer is great. Can it work with sage or necro ? I don’t have those class but I also don’t want long cool down build, if one monster is attacking me I want to be able to kill it outside of linker combo.

Yes, this is possible. After KTOS patch for summon buffs, skeletons get 8 AoE attack ratio. The linked mobs might die to summons before you are able to cast Swell Body.

High SP. You will still have to use SP pots if you spam a lot of shadow skills. Shadowmancer SP cost is extreme.

The mentioned linker + thauma builds in this thread are all viable. Build power will depend on the amount you are willing to invest. Material mobs are quite easy to farm, low investment linker thaum can kill it easily.

I need to decide on how to proceed with a farmer + scroll maker Enchanter build.

I’ll be happy if this build can farm sustainably in endgame hunting ground but I also want freedom to be able to make scrolls.

Currently I’m looking at Wizard 1 > Pyro 1 > Linker 1 > Thaum 2 > Chrono 1 > Warlock 1 > Enchanter 2
I could, however, take out Chrono for another rank in Linker or perhaps Thaum 3. I like the idea of being able to use reincarnation to assist with farming specific enemies though and Quicken seems useful to have for an auto attacking build

I’ve never made a linker - thaum before so I’m not sure if not having circle 3 in thaum will cause the whole thing to fall apart

not true imho, sage2 is actually pretty strong with the c2 attributes so you can still go full SPR. The issue here is that we still don’t have the patch that lets micro dimension hit flying enemies, but once that hits imho it’s a very solid caster type farmer (referring to wiz1(or2) > pyro1(or 0) > linker2 > thaum3 > sage2)

That’s actually very true. I just made a Wiz2Link2Thaum3Sage2 yesterday and I’m really impressed - it’s really strong.

Only really downside I found with Sage for farming is: Don’t waste a skill cast, cooldowns are long. This will be a little better when Micro Dimension can hit flying monsters, so even this is fine.

what about wizz2Link2Thaum2Sorc1Shadow2 ?

there is no reason to use wiz2 in that build, you can replace it with pyro or cryo1. Also when you’re just farming you may have to turn off your summon sometimes to pull off the link-swell combo

Finally more interest for dealer sage2!

I use this scrollcrafter build too, however this char stopped at enchanter1 and turned into a shop. Pole of agony scroll lvl 1 & flame ground scroll lvl 1 are worth to destroy objects, and enchant fire lvl 1 is worth for auto-attack classes. Other scrolls are luxury (quicken, reversi, link).

I predict it is possible to farm with enchanter2 to get 350 materials.

I’m going to reset my farmer from ench to sage.
Would you suggest w2 > link2 > Thauma3 > Sage2 full SPR or w2 > Link1 > Thauma1 > Chrono3 > Sage2 full INT?

I’ve been leveling thaum so far and the auto attacking playstyle is quite smooth even when leveling. the only issue I have is managing my health, since I seem to take a lot of damage.

I’m going full int with about 20 dex just for smoothness of movement and still getting used to the idea of using Transpose for survivability in order to temporarily increase my block rate. How does a build like this manage life sustain without being a Featherfoot?

My problem is probably just that I’m lv 170 and still using Cafrisun set.

for farming specifically I still recommend the 1st one. If you plan to invest on the character and also use it for other content then I think the 2nd one works out

Ty for the answer
Why, do you think, for the chrono version I would have to invest more?
Is it for the difference in number of hits on JP?

Thauma Swell buffs give a lot of extra magic attack. You can defeat mobs easily even with a low~average weapon.

But, if swell right doesn’t apply to the main hand anymore, isn’t it more or less the same?
I tried on tos neet, 400 INT provides the same magic attack than 400 SPR with thauma3 buffs.

Do you mean 400 INT with thaum1 (level 5 swell arm) vs 400 SPR with thaum3 (15 swell arm, 5 brain)?

I will use tosneet to compare it for solo play, without considering Party-buff value (example swell right for partymember).

Level 360 Wizard
Base INT: 8, Base SPR: 7, compare 400 stat point value into INT or into SPR:

408 INT & Thaum1:
SP pool: 4665
1216 Magic Attack from base and from INT
Lv5. Swell Left Arm 391 magic attack bonus.
Total: 1607 magic attack bonus
Cost: 1 rank

407 SPR & Thaum3:
SP pool: 16’386 (11721 increase from SPR)
Lv5 Swell Brain 550 magic attack bonus and +45 INT.
Lv15 Swell left 1065 magic attack bonus.
331 magic attack from base and from swell brain.
Total: 1946 magic attack bonus.
Cost: 3 ranks
