In the last closed beta I remembered bots overflowing the entrance of the mines. Seeing them in every single channel was annoying! In other games bot checker programs are annoying for regular players, so I won’t suggest that, but they are like ‘elephants in the room’ that need to be dealt with. Botting is bad because it ruins the economy. My idea is that the community can list locations that have frequent bots that should be monitored. If you feel this topic is in the wrong location feel free to move it to the right section.

Wasn’t just bots. You could also afk with a pet. Hard to punish that.
Shouldn’t be viable on open beta at least.

Yeah I guess it’s not that difficult to the game developer create some engine to remove AFK players who have been hours right on the Bots spots
At higher levels it’s not hard for a necro to go on a lower level map and summon their skeletons/Shoggoth then afk while they kill stuff for silver.
SEND reports per pm to the mods or to support.
DONT list the persons here.

Royal construction chapel or whatever its called, home of tempura shooter. Has a lot of bots at the entrance on the stairs afk killing/botting too
Oh yea, royal mausoleum 4F usually as a decent amount of bots, mostly because of sage wall.
We should be ok considering for the first month it’s p2p.
There are still going to be bots, just not as many.

Hacks are avaible for less then 20 bucks … and today i am going to search sites again and report them individualy.
I HOPE IMC will do something … and write programms to find these specific ones.
They can’t go legaly agianst the bot script writers.
That’s actually hard to do.
But they can hit the idiots hacking hard!

Never expect people to care if it’s p2p or f2p.
If they think “i can hack without worry of being caught” … they will.
The ones with the 50 bucks acess might … “better not …” but for 10 bucks?

Is going AFK and leaving your summon to kill mobs something you get punished for?

In EuRO we had that rule added, after alchemists where camping every freaking easy spot. At times 10 to 20 at the hydra pond or more. It destroys economy, when you have mechanics to auto pick stuff up too …
Anyways.
That isn’t forbidden yet. But you might get killed by highe rleveld players with monster orbs~ As soon as they get them.
People hate:
- any kind of afk farmers
- botters
- hackers
It’s not against the rules to push a button and read a book with your other hand. But that is afk farming too … in some kind of way.
Just don’t be angry when you get killed xD.
People made a sport out of harrasing afkers at red kepa. So many where farming that spot.
I’m expecting a lot of bots, everywhere. I didn’t played CBT/KrOBT, but I know Ragnarok community very well, expect the worst.
I think afk farming will only work for low level mobs so people will end up hating much more bots than afkers.
What are monster orbs? Where and how do I get them?

As all the locations prone to heavy botting are already known …
But the sad thing is … there’s so many hacks and bots already out there.
People wills urely be banned, but after what damage they have done xD.
If people see botters or hackers ingame … they will be turned off the game.
Specially when F2P starts.
Even if it#s only “low level areas” … that’s most important…

Well it really depends on if the botters fell like they can make up 10$ easly whit their profit or not.
Even then there will always be some players just botting for drops like the sage wall recipe since that’s a 1/10000 drop.
