Limiting dungeon runs, please don't let this pass

They want to limit it as much as possible so you buy these for every dungeon run. They last 60 minutes which is 2 dungeon runs usually. 3 if you get a lucky group combo through matchmaking.

But thats broken logic. If they allow 4 runs/day players will need to buy 2 of these scrolls which means more money for IMC unless they plan to pair it with dungeon reset scroll.

Remember, bonus outsid eof solo parndom partyfinder is 450% with unqiue classes fighting together.

So it’s 90% of exp on normal dungeon runs max.
And 120% exp on finder que.

That was made, to make dungeons easyer and faster accessible…

Well yeah but if you get too many dungeon runs then you don’t need to buy the book as you already get enough.

If I get 5 dungeon runs it’s already plenty and I’d probably just need 1 book to get me high enough level to continue to my next map for cards. See my point?

Same thing. You do 2 runs per day with scroll, then go to grinding fields anyway or next map for quests/cards.

Kind of depends what level you are. Dungeons say at level 200+ hardly feel like they do anything without a book + token + matchmaking bonus in effect. With all that you get about maybe 10% of your exp bar or something ridiculous for 1 dungeon run. At this point though you also do missions too, dailies for cards, but still.

Level 260+ gets even worse. Also some class combos can’t even solo past this point unless they are a cookie cutter build.

High levels work like this: Log in, do dungeons till reset, log out. World grinding is not worth it unless you hate your life and since there’s very little drops worth it in the world you gain very little from it.

Oh btw. Tera also has dungeon reset scrolls, but they come with 5 hour cooldown period (and dont reset raids) and nobody complains about them being p2w. Why it is different for ToS? Its not like you get some OP equips from them (aside from Earth Tower but its different).

I’ve read that even Earth Tower equipment isn’t that desirable compared to other options such as items that raise skill levels that aren’t available on Earth Tower items.

The ones @nizidr linked I believe are the only weapons with +skill ups.

Lolopanther gear in general tends to be very good gear. But there is alternative gear that can be better based on build/preference.

For example the lolopanther shield:

While it is a very good shield, there is the wall guard which offers 3 block rate (block rate is a modifier for block so it’s actually quite an amazing stat):

And for characters that prefer more lines of damage, shields such as Otreva or Ledas are better since they offer an elemental damage stat.

There’s also interesting gear that is more situational like Cripple, which could be good in GvG:

So keep all that in mind, that not all lolopanther gear is BiS, but they are certainly some of the best gear.

i am not into ā€œend of the world theory craftingā€ but theres a point in his reply - less dungeons = more income cause those who feel the need of progression gonna use exp books outdoor not only in dungeons = more exp books spent/exp gain - thats what ill do for example - using exp books 24/7 even if i slack 30 mins in town cause ill feel an ā€œexp lossā€ if i dont - might be just me tho but i guess all out progression player use each and every possibility to gain even 1 exp more/hour specially on a fresh start

I think a reasonable amount would be 5 per day for free to play, and 7 or 8 for the vip/premium.

I don’t think that’s too much to ask, is it?

They do want us to actually spend time playing this game right?

Yes that’s too much actually.

Full clearing a dungeon on-par with your level would take 20+ minutes usually.
With 5 runs that’s already almost 2 HOURS of just dungeon alone, if the Token up it to 7-8 then you’re looking at 3 hours.
For casual players not only would that be pretty much all their time, it’s also constanly just doing dungeons, which can get boring/tedious fast.

So to reply to this part of your post:

Yes they want you do spend time playing the game.
And the game is more than just doing dungeons all day.

A lot of good stuff comes from dungeons. I wouldn’t mind more talt.

Yes. Having not played the game before I would be fine with that, not knowing anything different. I guess Im mainly concerned with the amount of time I will be actually playing the game. As dungeon’ing is predominantly what I prefer to do.

If you guys have played it and are in agreement that that is indeed to much I suppose ill have to bow out of the conversation.

Who the hell would like a No-limit Dungeon ?? Idk man but it feels like only ppl who didnt do a dungeon run in Tos want a no-limit. I tell you why Dungeons in Tos are ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  boring as hell.I rather would grind in open field if the exp rate wouldnt be fuckd up compared to dungeons.
