There is one problem with the limit. If EXP from dungeons was the same as EXP from other activities, there would be no point in limits. But right now it’s 6 times higher. And generally dungeons are boring. So I don’t think it’s too bad.
If they add some harder dungeons I’d rather use all my dungeon run for 1 run in a harder dungeon. I really don’t like the idea of being forced to complete the same dungeon over and over again just because it gives so much EXP comparing to anything else. I think IMC did it to somewhat limit players growth speed so they are able to make more content while players busy levelling. Lowering dungeon runs limit is much better than reducing EXP rate.
When the game evolves and they add some more content dungeon runs limit won’t be necessary anymore and devs would most probably remove it.
So don’t bother too much about it and just enjoy the game.
Also don’t forget that you will most likely want to play dungeons with randoms for max exp.
The good solution would be adding some “free” runs with 100% exp and lower drop rate instead of 600%. This will allow players who really love repeating the same thing over and over again to run dungeons as much as they want.
Another good solution would be 5+2 dungeons per day account wide.

No one will grind in open worlds even if we had 1+1.
People would just roll alts and log out as soon as they did 2 runs so their EXP books wouldn’t run out.
Reading all your replies you all make valid points actually. However if they don’t remove the limit I’d like it if they increased the rewards and exp you get from doing field grinding as it is bad right now.
The problem is ( or at least was) not the exp from fields… It is the mob density.
The field-mobs exp is actually fine, but it’s a nightmare to try to grind on the fields because there are no good spots. That’s why instanced dungeons are so good: they have good amount of mobs that gives tons of exp.
IMO, as I said on the beginning of this topic, we should have something between 3~5 runs without the option to buy more entrances. Paying or non-paying, everyone should have the same amount of runs. But after reading that we can get a lot of bonus exp with the matchmaking (something like 450% and that is way better than the exp rate from icbt2), I think that 2~3 (again, without the option to buy more runs with money) runs should be more than enough to make this game not turn into Tree of Dungeon…
BUUUT…it’s just my opinion right now… I’ll wait to see if that’s enough when the game launches on Tuesday.
agree, that would be troublesome for who have tiny time for gaming.
Then do that instead of complain, there are places to grind if you know how and where to look for it, but ofc there is people who wants to max lvl asap and other ones doing alts all the time… like any other game.

1st Korean limit is different, 2nd every one buy scrolls, it is normal since you are use to. For some reason western players find this like unacceptable but it is pretty common.
Limit should be same for people who use tokens and for people who don’t. I say this having bought the big bundle due to it being on sale and good value, but I don’t see myself ever activating or purchasing tokens. Just not the type of product I would ever use.
It’s an F2P game, the regular gaming experience should not be compromised to this degree for non premium users. I mean you ARE going to want to spam dungeons at certain points into the grind, it’s a little tough of a sell to add a service where you get twice the XP per day in those situations… (and it’s not like token users aren’t already getting 30% extra xp. that’s more reasonable of a number… on its own at least.)
Actually, I think a better idea would be 1 dungeon run on each
dungeon per day, or per certain period of hours.
Why something like that? This game is not a dungeon crawler,
actually, should be about grinding and questing, not even the
game mentions or have any objectives that tells the player to
do dungeons, so I believe that should be more like an extra
than an obligation to every player who wants to progress.
Beside due to the dungeon run being of 1 per day,
the rewards should also be better.

Imo, they could keep the 3 instances per day, but not globally, we should have 3 entries for 90, 130, 175, etc.
The f… With the f. Global limit first time eve ever seen game doing sh!t like this. I just hit lvl 90 and im so damn mad with the global limit system. And the fck with the market system seriously 1 item for non premium? What kind of mind fck you guys thinking that you think people would stick to this game.
You are so angry in fact you necroed a topic from back in march with the last reply on apr 25th to protest a limit that we already knew about, The limit was 3 a dungeon during cbt to test the dungeons, they let us know then they were probably going to limit it. The reason it is limited is because most (and by most I mean ll dungeons besides the level 50 dungeon) have a chance at high value purples or oranges.
I’m sorry you can’t just queue the dungeon and run it till you hit the next one, then the next one then the next one. Might I add that would leave you quite poor and lacking 50 stat points from quest along with tons of eq missed out and cards from kill quests exploration etc. I assume the only reason you want this is because you don’t want to quest at all, which is fine I respect your decision, however no one else has a huge problem with it, and at level 90 you shouldn’t even be at the point that you need more than 6 dungeon runs (90 dungeon + level 100 party instance), unless you were trying to get an arde dagger. Which at that point it is a rare for a reason.
Well basically i hate it because i dont like it. If i go questing all the way to hundred its just doesnt make any sense why they have that dungeon at all because by the time ive done questing way up to lvl 115 i get enough cards to move on and just forget about the dungeon… They couldve made it once a day but not globally but its pretty annoying. the game aint no fun no more this is kill joy.

Well as of right now that dungeon has a drop that sells for 1 mil
The 115 dungeon has a shield that rivals it but is untradable, also a hammer that is orange.
The 130 dungeon has the petamonin which sells for about 7.7 mil.
The 145 dungeon has a host of purples etc…
These dungeons weren’t really meant to be ran for xp, is it a nice bonus when your the level of the dungeon yes, however the item drops are pretty high up on useful if you don’t just get talt.
