Leveling from 150 to 200+

Since the information available is very conflicting and the opinions range from “grinding for 30 levels” (140->170) to “didn’t grind at all” I am interested in hearing more people’s direct experience.

Especially those who did not dedicate extra “grind time” at Demon Prison or Dina Bee Farm - how many hours do you play on average per day?

I wonder whether it is related to the dungeon entries + missions that people with fewer hours of game time have a smoother ride since their advancement is spread out over a longer period.

Thank you for every contribution

The only time I did grind was on tenet 2f. I never joined a grinding pt in demon prison or dina bee farm. I do 100% maps, mission and dungeon whenever I can daily. I’m level 207 right now with a ton of level 9 and 10 cards I’m saving.

no grind. Just did all my daily missions and dungeon runs. And all the quests and it got me to 200 very quickly. I did save my exp cards around level 145 until 160 and than used them at 160 to quickly reach level 170+.

Lvl 178 monk here. So I’ll be sharing my experience on your 140-170 range question.

I didn’t grind at all. My only sources of leveling were dungeons, missions, and questing for exp cards (didn’t use any lvl 7+ cards for this range). I used my lvl 4,5,6 cards to go from 160-170. I did not do any of the other dailies in the Mercenery Post either just the missions.

Hours of playing wise. During the weekdays I pretty much just log on to do dungeons and missions. No questing. For this range it took me about 2-4 hours a day depending on how fast autoparty can find a group and how good the group can perform. Usually my playtime is lower but the 145 dungeon takes longer to clear than previous dungeons in my opinion. The 175 is so much faster now =D

It took me about 4 days to clear this range doing only what I said. And once again I did use my 4,5,6 cards to fly through 160-170.

Edit: Forgot to add a few details. I am on a token so I am getting the additional 30% exp as well as the additional instance entries. Also, I did not use any additional exp tomes nor have I used any if my dungeon reset vouchers so far.

Very helpful info, thank you so much!

How many hours did you roughly play every day? Just on average… for that level range.

Could you say something about your playtime? Thank you.

You really only need to grind from 150-165 if you followed cards on a normal path. I saved extra and stopped grinding at 160. Some people dungeon more over days and don’t have to grind at all. This ‘grind’ includes dungeons and missions, so it’s hard to say just how long it will take.

The point is that you shouldn’t use all your level 8 cards yet if you can help it. You want to hit 186 with a few level 8 cards left if possible. You use the rest of your 8 cards and all your 9 cards to hit ~215 so you can grind Alemeth.

I know this isn’t the advice you wanted. My daily playtime varies.

Is this for your own use? If so what lvl are you? and how many cards have you saved?

Personally i just quested (and the 50 dungeon) to 90. Then did dungeons and missions daily up to 160.

At 160 i went back and completed all the maps/quests under my lvl and carded to a little over 180. And back into dungeons and missions

Not the fastest method but defiantly a low effort route.

It fits the subject perfectly - thank you.

I’m glad I can help; I know it can be confusing since people’s answers vary so much. It all comes down to what level you use your exp cards at basically. It took me way too long to figure that much out.

Can’t really tell how long I play daily but my total playtime is 403 hours, with a 129 priest and a 207 fencer. I don’t think it matters too much as all I’ve been doing are quests, maps, bounties (whenever the kill requirement for a mob is low), and dungeons.

It did get a bit slow around level 178 because I used all my cards to get here, so I relied on the 175 dungeon and did quests again until I hit 190 (186 is exp reset).

Very interesting!

Yes, it’s for my own use. My Monk is level 149 and currently in Demon Prison for the quests. I was wondering whether I should pause the questing and grind. I only have about 87 x lvl 7 exp cards but not done any maps in this area - meaning after the “Main Chamber Storyline” ended.

Is very helpful but always tells me the same thing “you’re gonna need many more cards!”

Then again - I hope that the 145 dungeon + missions + the maps will help to skip the grind.

The 145 dungeon is pretty good for xp if you do full clears.

219 w/ cards here. Haven’t done field grind yet, minus very, very early on when I was confused on a weird exp gap between me and another player. Like level 40ish HAHA

I play uhh quite a bit every day. Unsure how to give you a good measurement but enough to do all my dungeon runs + mission runs at the very least. It might actually be easier to close the gaps if you play just enough to do these, since you skip a few days of clearing maps and just slowly gain isolated exp. I’m more or less doing this right now to clear the 220-225 gap.

I skipped dungeons 160 (ofc) and everything past 200. I only ran 190 and the dungeon before that about 3 times ea. It’s recommended to do those more, but I had really bad experiences in them and basically just went “nope”

It might be notable that I do map exploration achievements. I only started doing kill count achievements at 195+, but if you feel like you’re moving along slowly, it might be nice to do those and net some field exp along the way.

I’m also a full support so I killed very little especially when I was playing solo. Kill as much as you can though, it’s more or less how a friend outstripped me on his archer at like lightning speed.

I hope that helps HAHA

Missions and dungeons are your best bet… till 160. The 160 dungeon is terrible, so get ready to start questing and popping in all your cards till level 175. Then at 175 you’ll gain like 10-20% per dungeon and mission. Quest, dungeon and mission. I haven’t had to grind yet. I’m level 188 and I just hit the 186 reset and currently leveling extremely fast to 200.

It really does. Thanks so much

True, I’m doing it atm… but it takes a reeeally long time to complete.

That sound like rather slow advancement to 186 then. In other words about 1 level for all the daily stuff?
