Don’t put it and say it like the BRs didn’t do any sh1t and people are against them not because they’re latin american. They know what they did in alot MMORPG Games and spoiled the BR name world wide. Obviously this is an ENGLISH server and it’s highly recommended for english speak international players~ but people keep spamming portuguese on chat and all the rubbish. Things happen for a reason~ people judge for a reason .

There are a ton of things I disagree in this case. Some Brazilian players’s behavior is one of them, or at least, people who say they are brazilian and spam.
But also, this coward attitude of hiding behind the global thing to go racist and xenophobic. I do understand that since it’s a game, the server is full of children, but when you are racist and you don’t even have the guts to admit that, you’re even worse.
When I come to think of it, both Americas aren’t that different, I can see here that it’s a whole “I want to have my right to disrespect others”.
Unfortunately, there’s no International server. Just a “I want you to do as we do in my country” Server. Not only here. but in every game I’ve played. I don’t really think some countries will be able to stop thinking they are better than the others one day.
But congratulations, OP… for trying.
On lamia brazilians spam(it also some usless spam, some of them at first used profanity and got baned for it so now all they do is spam “huehue” or something else usless), it is not racist to hate spammers, their spam makes global chat worthless I can’t even ask questions or ask to join parties for dungeon raids.

I’m still amazed at some of the comments in this thread. People acting as if people who speak a different language or are from a different part of the globe differ so greatly from are own people. What’s sad is the physical characteristics of those who are complaining about our Latin American player base are so similar it probably mirrors real-time-real-world events going on right now.

Every culture is a noble heritage, all equally unique and has its dark sides. Did it ever occur to you guys you are playing a Korean game? That you guys have no right to waltz in here spouting hateful remarks when you are all downright playing a foreign game that’s merely translated?

They did NOT invent democracy, that honor belongs to Greece, they do NOT speak true English, what the hell is a cookie and I always thought it was spelled c-o-l-o-u-r and t-h-e-a-t-r-e, and they ARE just 400 Years Old culture that invented the most cataclysmic WMD in human history. However America is also a melting pot of many cultures, and the sole superpower of the world. At least practice some responsibility with that.
OP I commend your effort to bring awareness, but the thread has become far too toxic. To stamp out social injustice and intolerance, it takes effort. I think @STAFF_Marikim, @STAFF_Shawn and the mods should shut down this thread but first weed out the problems after a massive review, like @Flyllow for example.

Thing is how they announced it.
If you say “there are so much south american players that we wants to make a server for them” is a good thing, it means they want to do something for their community to have less lags.
But “after all the complaints about brazilians we’re gonna make a server for them” is a little bit discriminating i think because it feels like the guys that are complaining because of something that most of the people in the servers don’t mind at all. It feels like they are saying they don’t have their place on international server, and that’s what feels sad and discrminating. But maybe it’s just a diffenrence in culture anyway for me to understand it this way. And i think ToS Devs didn’t meant to say it that way either. ^^
