Ive met and partied up with quite afew Brazilian players in the past afew days. Not a single one was what you guys describe in the chat. Yes I see the spam, but heres the thing. It is SOOO easy to ignore and just go about your business. If I ask a question in chat and theres a portuguese text going on, someone always answers in English, The only time the hue hueārs start to flair up is when you clowns start screaming to ban them and calling em monkeys an ā ā ā ā .
And they get off on it lol. They go out of their way to see you get all worked up and spam for bans while they hue hue hue all the way to the bank while not even taking you guys seriously.

Iām not trying to be a hero or anything like that, but I really think the dialogue about this problem needs to be done, if we just keep playing and ignore all the hate we have towards us it will definitely never change. Creating a space to openly discuss about it stimulates people to think about it, if we manage to change peopleās minds we are betting that these guys consequently will argue against any kind of racism or xenophobia, creating a chain.
It is indeed impossible to change the community as a whole with a simple measure, of course it is, but once we manage to have most of the players being against these negative postures it is easier to report them and try to fix it. Smalls steps can be as important as the big ones and need to be done.
Also, I reported the problem on behalf of my country because it is a problem to us all and I know many many other players are experiencing the same as I am, which is receiving a ton of hate towards you as an INDIVIDUAL because of your nationality. I donāt see why arguing against someone who is bashing on your country is bad, though, most of the hate usually is generated by ignorance alone and clarifying your point of view may change theirs too someday, it ends up being beneficial to both of them.

Having a server for them is about the region and the language. Nothing to do with racismā¦or discrimination. Most people would be glad to have a server with everyone speaking the same language.
I just donāt get why you guys are making this into a race or discrimination issue, itās a freaking game. Stop turning it into a drama fest and play. If you donāt like whats going on in the game then donāt play it, or better yet, donāt read the chat!

well, to be honest dude, I feel like you just brought this up to gain attention to yourself. If you didnāt want this thread to "get out of handā then you sure picked the wrong topic. There are jerks all over the world, in work, school, games, you name it. It isnāt news that there are people that are hateful towards a specific race or culture, it will be around FOREVER until the good lord comes back that is. Please refrain from making these kind of threads again and post something thatās helpful to actually playing ToS because the GMās wonāt do anything about one person being rude to someone else unless you write a ticket about it and they ban him, and most of us will just be in our own little friend group doing our own thing and not be concerned about one guy that feels bad about someone else being rude.
