Lets be honest… everyone that makes a Corsair is looking foward the Jolly Roger and Double weapon asssault.

And lets be honest there are several topics like this one;

The class has it own problems and its far from the others regarding usefulness. Beyond that, it’s not fun to play with it, and even unhealthy. Button smashing can screw up your tendons and break your keyboard and gamepad.

But the thing is, the solution is plain and simple and allows the corsair to join the meta:

-Enable double weapon assault for pistols. Why the hell can they use pistols if they can’t be used properly and in synergy with the class?
-Make the sub-weapon attack auto-connect.

So please, look into it with care and love <3

Easier way to get less damage to your hand while doing weapon assault : Let a finger permanently push the offhanded weapon atk (C on keyboard), and spamm only main button of auto atk (Z on keyboard)
So that makes you have only to smash one button instead of two, and you nearly don’t miss any “combos” if we can call them that. ^^

If they not going to remove sta … at least put attributes
( maybe sta consumption is bug … it not written in the tooltip anyway )

Still, remains the question; Is it really needed? Do we have to resort to such stuff so it can be playable? :confused:

Less than ideal for sure, but better than nothing fam. :confused:
Also piggybacking this comment, Swordsman 3->Peltasta->Corsair 2 ->Shinobi.
DWA is an amazing stunmachine since your autos are spaced out just enough to lock targets haha.

all those youtube Corsair Hype got me almost quit when i reach rank 6 knowing DWA is utterly bullshit skill pressing 2 keys at the same time + stamina drain. Really IMC?

there’s no reason your offhand button can’t spam dwa; normal auto attacks work that way. silly devs.

what i wanna happen to corsair:
-remove unlock chest skill and place DWA in C1
-remove stamina consumption of DWA
-increase ASPD or improve animation speed of DWA its really slow af…
-fix DWA not giving bonus dmg of main hand attacks to targets w/ opposite armor type
-rework dagger sudden mastery attack just removing the requirement of backstabbing would make it perfectly fine
-remove the button mashing and just make the auto attacks connect automatically
-remove multiple iron hook - keel hauling restriction … i have 300 str and i can’t even pull 3 enemies at once? LOL

erm that’s it for me, feel free to criticize… i dont mind…

atm the only point of taking corsair is jolly roger and hexen other skills are just no no…

DWA is awesome if ya ask me and really easy to use. Think about it, if you ever played an MMO before you know exactly how to pull the double attack off easy. jolly roger is awesome, i love getting silver, and hexen drops single target and groups like a rock. I love my Corsair and cant wait till they release rank8 swordie classes. Gonna be cool to see what i can add.

i see no difficulties using DWA in keyboard but what how about in joystick srsly its not fun doing that in joystick

One of the reasons that i play ToS is the joystick, it’s refreshing compared to other keyboard+mouse games.

same goes for me, i just went to hiatus after my joystick broke 3 weeks ago until now since i’m still searching for a joystick to my liking.

What made me fkin angry is the fact that QS, which is a ranged class, gets a skill that not only increases ASPD but also increases physical attack by a serious amount. We, Corsairs, need to be in melee range to be able to use DWA, NOT to mention you have to constantly dodge everytime, making it unreliable in real fight scenario. What I would suggest for this skill to be reworked with are:

  1. Increases the damage produced by DWA while the skill is active, similar to Running Shot.
  2. Able to be used while jumping.
  3. Remove the ‘need to press Z + C constantly for fast attacking’ mechanic.
  4. Like everyone said, able to be used while using Pistol offhand for Corsair C3.
  5. Give enhance attribute to DWA for goodness’ sake!!

There is a buff in ktos that makes it possible now to use DWA with pistol ^^
