Well cannon weapons got a huge min-max damage gap, that’s all. That’s why when I got 2 agvaras, I sold them for attributes and items.

dude, how much to you have to farm to get the recipe?, i have already killed like 1300 damn lepusbunny and i haven’t got sh*t
Got my first on 900 something kills and the other one dropped on 2300+ ish. You hunt the red lepusbunny assassins only, not the normal ones. My friend got 2 in 3700 kills and my other homie got it on 1400 kills.
yeah i just farm the assassins, those mobs are too squishy, i just wipe them all with cannon shot. Gotta keep trying.
Any TLDR? I hate numbers lol.
so you mean just the 50% additional damage is base PhyAtk not the total Atk after modifiers, and whichever the case, it will still have small difference between the two?
So which cannon are you using now? Superior is much advisable than Agvaras?
What I mean is, if EternalDream is correct, and Cloaking gives a 50% increase to your physical attack at the start of the formula, then Cloaking will become extremely good once people reach base attacks of +1k (which will also proportionately increase with higher skill damage).
So, yes, it’s on the base physical attack, and yes, it’s a small difference until you are fully geared.
It means it’s good for endgame but not early game (leveling stage).
I see, well explained. I just see the potential of this cloak 50% damage will benefit more for Cannoneers and Musketeers during PvP or if you want fancy entrance during Dungeon/Mission runs.
I think you need to note that it’s best used with 1-hit skills with high T3 modifier.
Skills using default 100% would still make look Cloaking’s attribute horrible.
Well, it’s really up to you. For me personally, it doesn’t really matter for now at least. All I want to do is max out my wugushi and cannoneer attributes. The -1 Movement speed is a huge turn off for me too. Yeah, I use superior for now.
I have 0 experience with Cannoneer, so could you help me to elaborate these:
I always heard that there is “weapon lag” during switching, for instance you are using Xbow + Mana-mana, and you have Xbow + Cannon on the weapon change slot.
So when you cast cannon blast it will automatically switched to Xbow+Cannon:
- does it switches back to Xbow+Mana-mana?; or
- stay in Xbow+Cannon?
how’s your experience with this “weapon lag”? or you just always use Xbow+Cannon?
thanks mate!
- Yes.
The weapon lag is really annoying. It can drop your fps to 10-15 depending sometimes on server time. It can be smooth in few cases.
I just stick to xbow + cannon when I grind with party. The fps drop is sometimes risky.
Cool, thanks for your help.
Ideally if no weapon swap lag, its good to use 2 good sets of weapon. but then again, sh!tty game stuffs.
I wonder if there is any video around showing the FPS drop during the weapon swap lag.
Well, everything looks good with T# modifiers and any other percentage multipliers.
The big thing that matters is whether the skill damage is lower than your base attack. The lower it is the more apparent cloaking will be.
Of course, only for one hit…
If I am full dex still worth picking up Scout?
A2-QS3- currently
Scout will most likely be more for utility and defensive reasons. Offensive Scout is better with high STR.
Rogue is essentially good for anything but isn’t the best; due to capture and sneak hit, but they have better class value when low DEX…
Falconer has that pve potential with circling, but I fail to see how Falconer 1 will benefit for pvp. Likewise, Hunter would be the opposite of Falconer.
Ranger is always an option due to steady aim…
SR 1… Dunno much. Doesn’t sound good at C1
Fletcher 1 will only be for gimmicks mostly.
Wugushi 1 is straight up extra damage when there is no other Wugushi.
Sapper 1… Don’t know enough, but it doesn’t look like Sapper 1 is good.
Archer 3… Tbh, I can only really see going Archer 3 for Multi Shot 15, and even that isn’t a good enough reason to go for it.
I would probably suggest Scout, Falconer, or Ranger, but I dont play Cannoneer so take what I said with a grain of salt.
Well the available T# modifiers for the skill is also a huge factor, I just don’t see it working well for skills that uses default 100% modifiers.
That’s getting complicated though and probably not getting newb friendly for the others so I’ll just stop there as well.
Guys… i am A2 QS3 and i have for now 200 str, 100 dex and 30 con . what u guys suggest for C6 and to not fuc* my build . when i made this char i was planning to get musk… but i changed my mind and now im going for cannon… so… what u guys think its the best path to go based at my current stats ? scout > cannon ? but works well with PvE ? i like the earth tower … im planning to play ET and PvP too… with that in mind, should i still pick Scout ? what about falc ? i was planning to pick falc but after read some hints about the class i dont know if is a good plan…
what do u guys suggest for my case ?
sorry my bad english.
thank you.
QS C3 scales better with pure STR
Musk/Cannon scales better with high DEX
Contradicting build but oh well, here’s my thoughts. I think you can salvage it by going Falconer>Musk or Falconer>Cannon or SR C2.
and the stats ? what do u suggest if i go to falc , cannon ? Focus only at dex ?
Hmmm, if it were me, I’ll focus getting 70% crit chance first, after that, invest all remaining stat points to STR. Reason is, you’d be losing alot of potential DPS each time your cannon skills doesn’t crit.
That means getting at least 466 critical rate before starting to invest on STR. If you want to consider high crit resist mobs, then add another 100 crit rate so that’ll be 566 critical rate.
