Of course normal players who are too dumb/lazy to level by themself are not gonna go on the forum and be vocal about their desire to get E-fame in a MMO without putting any effort into it.
MMO players are generally very selfish and disgusting people so this is no surprise to me.
Even back in RO regular people would bot because they felt like they are at a disadvantage if they don’t do it

IMC either have to fix the skill or just implement captcha event to prevent bots…

kneeling shot afk farm has been happening since cbt… pretty standard kneeling shot behaviors for people that know how to afk farm in the games they play… right now 1 of the easily best available farm methods for them… they just miss rare looot drops after their inventory fills up max weight. very very very easy to make a macro that does this for you… lock target makes it possible.
this guys macro has a lot more spam in it then needed… you could literally do the same thing he is doing with way less spam…
attack for 2 seconds left arrow once attack for 2 seconds left arrow once… with lock target, the left arrow press isnt going to change targets… but once you kill the target, a single left arrow press will move to the next target on your screen… you dont have to be spinning or even facing the targets for a left arrow press to highlight the next mob on your screen, even if its behind you… this guy was excessive. but i assume he is newer than most at afk farming.
holding down z wouldnt be as effective in a macro as something like

there are an abundant amount of macro programs out there. nowadays keyboards have configurable keys added to them… mice have added keys that are programmable as well…
its not in any way illegal until you can prove the kid is actually away from his keyboard. thats the threshhold… for all you know the kid you took a video of could have been watching a movie, talking to his wife, whatever his case may be, sitting right there at the computer… just not manually playing. his type of behavior is very very normal behavior for a very significant amount of people that have played multiple video games, ranging from 1996 and beyond.
I don’t mind the “Just holding Z” afkers, but not when they’re at a popular questing location. Like Tenet B1/F1, and that area you need to kill the Severed Demon Soul a zone or two before Tenet Garden.

It’s doing considerably more than holding z. Holding z doesn’t spam turn in all directions.
This may not be a traditional highlander bot, but the person definitely has some sort of script farming for them while they afk.
The question is why you would defend someone who is clearly cheating with misleading comments like that. Do you do the same?
This is like baby’s 1st macro on any keyboard with macro options.
I also found a legit player who was using a macro to turn around in all directions and shoot every few seconds, I mean it was clearly automated so I reported them just in case, the only thing you can really do is just report them and move on. If they aren’t really “botting” or if using macros like that isn’t allowed, then that will be up to IMC to decide.

kneeling shot doesnt consume sp. This lvling method has been around since CBT. even in korea. They fixed this by moving kneeling shot to c2 (it was c1 during korean beta)
uhm… “legit” and “botter / exploiter” are opposites.
if you’re using a bot or exploit, you’re automatically not a legit player.
just because they don’t have a name like “asdgfga hhjkfdhj” doesn’t make them legit.

sadly, integrity in gaming (well, in life in general, unfortunately) has gone the way of the dodo.
everyone seems to think they “deserve” to have everything for free, even if they didn’t work for it, and that when they want something else, they should be able to have that immediately too. (eg, everyone asking for easy respecs and such)

Doesn’t look like a bot, looks like someone who’s holding down the auto attack button with target lock on. If you hit left control (by default) it auto targets the closest mob.
One way for IMC to fix this is to make it so that players have to tap their attack button instead of just holding it down for holding down auto attack. Unless someone uses a program, I am not aware there is any feasible method to do it “externally”.

what the problem? shes probably using joystick while holding atk button and spinning left analog stick.
