Lag on opening World map

Hi,
is any1 having lag while opening world map? By lag I mean game hangs for 2-3 seconds before it opens. Not always, but mostly

i also having the same problem as well.
at first i think it’s because my RAM or VGA that causing fps dropped while open world map.

Nope that’s not the case at all. I was able to make a definitive comparison because the situation at my apartment and at home is different. The former has better and consistent internet yet bad hardware for frames while the latter has a totally strong hardware build but with bad internet ping and sometimes inconsistent connection.

Surprisingly, the former opens the world map much faster than the latter which shows that the world map is internet lag dependent :confused:

In my case, sometimes it takes even longer, like between 5-10 seconds to open.



Doubt it’s because my pc/net.

Or it’s bad optimized or it’s because of map size. I’ve normally the world map open in tosbase to avoid opening ingame’s. But would be nice to fix this…

By saying lags I wasnt thinking about internet lag but more like client side hardware lag. Seems like map is not well optimized. My pc is i7-4770k and gtx 980 ti. Pretty annoying when i have to open map or open it by mistake while fighting and wait such time

cpu will cause problems. AMD has poor single thread performance. Only really good if you like music/video productions etc.

My CPU is fine. I play everything on ultra and it’s fine. Can’t imagine opening a ■■■■■■■ map in a 2,5D game breaks it.

Same here. Got a up-to-date machine and worst case I had to wait 10 seconds (!!!) for the map to show up.

@STAFF_Ethan @Staff_Julie okay, this gets old, but please finally comment on the bad performance of the game engine? I don’t understand how u can ignore all those topics!
