Rant time - Some of the new Hackapeliter costume unlock achievements are insane. Credits to Ritsu for the picture.
A few of the Sadhu and Hwarang unlock/costume achievements were already crazy enough, but now they come out with this??? They might as well say the costume is available only for those who can credit card it into existence. I donāt see anyone grinding 300k kills in ep14 maps just for a costume. I seriously hope this is just a typo and they meant 30k insteadā¦
I really like the new journal system, and Iāve been finishing the class unlock/costume achievements pretty religiously - having done 13/13 Luchador, 6/6 Sadhu and 5/13 Hwarang achievements so far - but Imc is really losing me with these Hacka ones.
While I am hyped for the lightning wizard, it makes me worried about what kind of insane grind will be required to complete its achiementsā¦

If they didnāt exist to begin with wizard will still have those three, and cleric still have taoist and bokor
Instead of making electromancer back then they stole taoist from cleric, turned it into electromancer alike, then turned it into some elementalist now, and now they gonna make real electromancer ???

I myself and I believe many cleric bias out there as well will want to bring back taoist and bokor to cleric
I recalled my friend quit from having bokor stolen from cleric cause he canāt run with his zombies anymore.
taoist also rarely picked because back then krivis so underrated and went through constant nerfs, they confused what identity it should have given how many times daino and melstis changed, then they also lived as cow milked just for skills scrolls. Now krivis in better state but taoist no longer there. Smh

When it comes to cosmetic rewards, grinds can always be set as high as IMC wants, because theyāre not needed to fulfill any sort of actual gameplay requirement.

so we have infinite grind work, an archivement that force you to do field cm/solo cm because Iām sure that the chance your infinite assault connect to the boss let alone defeat it in auto cm is abyssmal. The pvp one, is that locked to hackapelite?
Luchador masterās requests were good because they were handily doable, even if it required quite some effort.
Some of sadhu and hwarang requests are already crazy enough compared to those. And Hackapellitesā are even worse? It doesnāt bode well.
This continuous āupping the anteā behaviour feels like they donāt mean for people to actually complete the requests but just buy the items for the completition,
Albeit, iām not even sure that some of those achievements work properly to begin with. The ādefeat 20000 enemies with sadhu skills in episode 13-1 or above challengesā and ""defeat 200 bosses in episode 13-1 or above challenges"hardly ever go upā¦

The problem is that while most of the grindy achievements have ways of ācheesingā them, a 300k kill grind with a class that is not good at AoE is going to suck no matter what.
For example, the 10k kills with Brotherhood active can be easily completed within a few hours by running tons of Siaulai dungeon on a saturday. The 20k kills with Sadhu skills donāt actually require you to finish the CM, so in solo CMs you can just leave at the boss to not consume entries. The use 50x Life Essence can actually be completed in Bernice instead of WBRā¦ and the list goes on.
But thereās no way to speed up a 300k kill grind to a point where it becomes bearable. Itās just awful regardless.
Usually when an achievement requires you to play a specific class, it says in the description. So it leads me to believe the 100 pvp kills one can be done with any class.
After I completed those two, someone told me they donāt actually require you to be in CMsā¦ killing in fields apparently works (card albums for the boss one I guess). For the boss one, the reason it doesnāt feel like it goes up is because it actually requires you to deal the last hit on the bossā¦ so takes a long time to complete on auto CMs.
Either way, I have hope Imc will fix the Hacka achievements at some point, judging by how they announced a change for the 30m attribute Hwarang one.

I would say TOS is the worstest farming game Iāve ever tried. Farm farm farm come on weāre not Korean always like to farm.
How was the Desition VV affected by the recent Cleric changes? I know it gives physical stat bonuses now, but what about the main effect? Does it proc from Holy/Fire/Strike skills now?
It proc on all skills used in area now.
