Probably because it’s starting to affect their bottom line. To be honest, IMC ignoring questions in Q&A’s is something within everyone’s expectations (after all their oblivious meet-and-greet GM Q&A’s, failure to address Telsiai server issues for more than 2 months now and the notoriously bad Ticket Support), especially with iToS due to the language barrier since IMC isn’t known for having the best translations.
I’m more interested in them sharing what Tree of Savior is planning for its future, really. Its extremely rare for IMC themselves to actually share their personal thoughts or even have a proper chat with the public outside of the now-defunct ToS Magazine and that one post from Kim long time ago, and-

It’s in Korean, I doubt they would announce it just to receive a backlash from the players who cannot understand what’s going on. I’m more impressed that they actually changed the TP prices of the arbor day packages and even exempt iTOS from having cheap access to upgraders for the botanic sets. It’s like they hope the player base is too dumb to check their official KTOS site and compare the prices and contents of the packages.
By the way, the post states that the content of the conference will be released separately as developers blog entries according to their post, so iTOS will receive the information eventually.
The only thing the iTOS players will miss out if they do not inform themselves is the chance to ask the developers. Maybe they fear a flood of English questions?

There will be balance changes to Chronomancer, Appraiser,Pied Piper,Quarrel Shooter,Rangda,Linker,Sheriff,Thaumaturge, Schwarzer Reiter, Enchanter, Assassin and Corsair.
yes, you will be able to put specific classes onto every build (sadly no extra class, so you’re still limited to 4 classes). Nak Muay seems to be a strange choice, I cannot see any tree except maybe Scout make use of it (Nak Muay vaivora + Scout vaivora can be equipped simultaneously,looks strange)
Classes included at the moment have no weapon restrictions- actually opens it up to some options not seen so far so it could end up being more than 6 classes. Also means with Diev/Hunter/Linker in that list you can finally be a full support swordsman. Stupid dumb if true. I love it.
