If you are whining about how new players/newbies will have a harsh time getting the gears because they couldnt use Flagbot as farming character…

There will be another Season Server and they can progress up ahead there easier. They can bring their friends to play with another Steam account in Season Server to help them progressing, while these friends will get the benefit of having another account to feed silver on the account on old server later when merged.

Because there is no way someone fresh to this game can progress far ahead without spending money to buy premium things, using RMT, buying Steam account, or a real masochist.

A lot of them are weird but changing self buffs into active skills is a good thing, they have multiplicative power/potential by default and it makes no sense if they don’t have a downside or downtime.

That should have been done right after rebuild, that patch never felt truly complete as a fix for the class system.

I’d say a better split is in Offense, Support (buff, healing, tank and multiplication/weakness debuffs) and Control (aggro management, displacements and incapacitation debuffs) and the mix of two, that’s a total of 6 which can cover almost everything and ensure no class just does it all (also just 6 colors to use). In an ideal scenario we would have at least two full magic branches but the only candidate for that is Cleric that can barely try it by sacrificing the thematic of its physical classes.

Up until this patch, the only thing i could never complain about IMC way to design classes was that they really tried to express classes themes even if they took an unusual element or approach, but new onmyoji and clown are… off, to say the least. Like really, of all things a clown could do they only gave it dagger throwing, dagger juggling and dancing… i don’t know, perhaps something like a channeling taunt with an annoying toy/instrument, use other clown accessories like balloons, pins, darts, hoola hoops or just some skill that copies a skill used (by you or on you).

I do think the intention of the class is more like a Jester, than a generic Clown we all know though. Does a generic clown even loves fighting?

Oh my… Bokor back to its fully glory as a contender for a class in a dark mage build. I’m still not impressed with Shadowmancer in my build, maybe I’ll go back to Bokor when this comes to iToS… or at least try the class again. Feels like a totally new class.

Useless skills replaced by useful skills. I like that… but this means lack of points to take everything and choices will have to be made.

I was expecting a nerf, but that’s actually a good change. Most of the skills used with Taoist in a build are fire/ice/lightning anyway (unless you use a build like Kino-Onmy-Tao).

Or they will increase final damage but reduce skill overheats to compensate… I think they simply forgot a part of that sentence (ā€œEradication: Transfer has been changed to increase final damage instead of reducing – it, but in exhange we reduced – the skill’s overheats.ā€)

Seems like the game is now based on buffs and debuffs since all classes have that and all bosses have gimmicks using stacks too. Less beginner friendly, you now have to learn to manage your stacks of buffs/debuffs constantly.

Lol what is this nonsense… Who the hell thought that a Wizard should use a dagger now? Imagine the poor guys like me who started since day 1 a wizard with a rod/shield and cloth set, taking Quick Cast skill from the Wizard class to be able to cast Elementalist skills faster. Got hit by re:build already, and now I would need to re-equip with a staff, a trinket and a leather set, replacing one of my classes with the useless Chronomancer choice in the process… Which class uses rods anyway now apart from Cryomancer?

Good change. If you want to use Earth attacks, Terramancer is there now.

Does this mean the attribute will be changed too? Sounds logical to remove the fire property on synergy with Kino skills and enhance those instead…

All in all those changes are really cool. This makes the Wizard class having four separate subclasses now: summoners, dark mages, elemental mages, non elemental mages. The only trans-subclass remaining synergy is Ice Wall + Psychic Pressure, but otherwise I would clearly see a Kino-Onmy-RC build now instead of Cryo-Kino-Onmy. If not even adding Terramancer in the build instead.

They’re bringing back all goodies lol. Soon we’ll see ā€œSleepā€ back :wink:

Yes, only two summoner classes left, meaning you need to pick something else in the meantime. I suppose every summoner was using FF instead of Bokor anyway no? (main summoners should be more useful here).

Out of all the names they could have picked for the class clown is the worst one. They could have gone with Jester, Joker, Phantom anything but clown because if the class is bad I’m going to feel like a clown once I pick it.

Vibora weapon’s maximum level has been expanded to level 4 .
The maximum level of Demon and Goddess-class armor has been expanded to level 3 .
Basic arc maximum level expansion and new arc 1 type added

More is more, I guess.

I think we already have more options to strengthen gear than maps in Tree of Savior.

As if farming for different pve and pvp sets weren’t enough.

The translation is really bad, but, from what I can get, this means something like:
ā€œIf you do not performe as well as the average of your team mates in CM, you will be penalized on how much Silver you getā€.

WTF?! IMC, do you really want new players? Or alts to even exist?
Edit: It says this is implemented for auto-matched CMs. Ok, but the point remains.

goddess/demon armor level 3, vvr leve l4, if you do no dmg in cm and get an high level player yo uget less silver.

Honestly was quite disappointed about Clown.

I was expecting some more unique mechanic/ buff that’d be provided by Clown.
Instead, it looks like a full dps class with almost every single skill being dagger attack skills.
Even the debuff is like for clown exclusive skills.
There’s no self buff that synergize with other weapons / class too.
Seems like this Clown thing is a pure dps class for dagger , and can only go along with dagger.

That disappoints me immeasurably, even though they could make the attack modifier sky high with this new class. (I doubt it though)

I will consider [Pocket Knife] unique enough gameplay for a class. Still details of it still needs to be surfaced first.

Wtf this is very very bad.

Now end game is scaled base on multiple Demon / Angel.
These Angel sets already turn the game into one trick pony to fix a class by making 1 skill OP…

So support priests will now always get lowest silver?
