Okay… so QS is getting back running shot. But I don’t have the faintest idea what exactly is QS supposed to do? It will then have

  • A channeling skill that takes 5s
  • A casting skill that takes 5s to use up all overheats
  • AA

Wow! As an Wizard main, I am over hyped for these changes!

I need yet to see further technical descriptions, but I can already see these changes as buffs. I will rearrange basically half of my classes, because this will change EVERYTHING!

Better translations are needed! There are some skills on Taoist which are really important and I do not know which were touched! I hope IMC releases an english version AFAP. If the right ones were, we are about to see the end of the very weird, and whale-friendly, build of Shadow-FF-Taoist.
And I can kinda see they will release a new mono-eletric damage class, now that the spot is free. I hope it is good! And likely the same for the Summoner archetype, as Bokor steps out of the summon-bracket.

Now one thing I would like to be very clear is that they changed something that was basically unique to the Wizard tree yet: there was no “closed group of classes”, which “don’t talk well between one-another”. Like classes using different weapons on the SW tree. Now Psychokino will not be optimized with Pyromacer+Onmyoji and Elementalist will not be as good with Onmyoji as it is now. And I see that as bad. Now you choose the 2 you want from each bracket and the third as a specialist thing.

Wait, it is the same treatment as all other class Tree now have!
Ok, now I see 2 new classes for Wizards! First being lightning class and the second being a Summoner!

I heard that Sadhu is finally getting a proper rework.

I read it. Now I can only wait for the testing. Seems… fine, I guess. Only thing that worries me is the Soul-thing stack generation and the base multiplier, considering that it seems you deal more damage based on stacks.

The best thing is that devs finally realized that the spirit mechanic, while unique, was also the problem of the class and they could’t fix it, so they remove it entirely.

the main onmyoji combo is onmy-kino-tao wit hchanneling set.

who get pyro with kino omny or omny with elementalist?

These are 4-fun builds, that uses combos that are not “over the top Weekly Boss” levels of good, but fun to play on normal CM and DG.
And, maybe, can be competitive with the right Ichor set, like the Gabija-Holy Flame one (conjuration). Don’t have it right now, but this is my endgoal.

Yes.
Soul (or Salt, ty google) damage is now exclusive to the Wizard tree, on Onmyoji, Rune Caster and Psychokino.

Enchanter

Enchant Weapon

Enchant Lightning, which has changed the attack properties of party members to Electric, now applies only to you and is replaced with an Enchant Weapon that adds additional damage. The additional deal is no longer proportional to the strength and agility level, depends on the character level and skill level, and is improved over the previous number.

Agility

The air quality is a small improvement in movement speed in proportion to skill level. The skill level changes from level 1 to level 16, and the maximum skill level from level 15 to level 10.

Enchanted Earth

Enchanters no longer increase block probabilities, but buffs (like Enchant Globes) that increase party members’ block penetration as a percentage.

Skill requirements also change from Level 16 to Level 1, and maximum skill level from Level 10 to Level 15.

I actually see this is a huge nerf to Scout support…

Also not scaling with STR and DEX make people who invest them a waste too.

Hopefully the value is so high it mitigate the fact that it doesn’t help the party anymore.
(I really doubt it, I bet it would be lower value than our fully invested STR/ DEX buff for sure otherwise it’d be too good zzz)

For enchant Earth I don’t get why they want to remove the block and replace with a useless pvp stat.

Overall this looks like an out of nowhere nerf on a meh class.

The Salute skill icon reminds me a lot of this scrapped wiz skill

SR trash modifier yet again got no change.
Outdated forever retreat shot (useless on dangerous mechanic boss already) / Marching Fire (compare to pouncing it’s a joke), Concentrated Fire (slow animation compare to Corsair’s similar skills with no built in aoe modifier like corsair’s skills)
Guess they already assume SR has to be AA forever so other skills can leave to dust.

As for dps buff you mentioned, that part is true but 0 mechanical change on any of the skills unlike the most popular wizard classes which got a total of 6 classes full rework.

In fact Enchanter got a huge nerf for no reason. (The longest post for Scout)

Clown would be a new spotlight , but it’s a full dagger class and it’d only help dagger scout.

See that full list of changes and then you see scout change is put at bottom with just a few lines pretty clearly shown what the priority goes to. (Wizard ofc cuz most people play them)
