you know that f2p doesnt mean trash gear right?

that video is not an accurate representation of the minimum gear, also have no idea why he has channeling set as a pyro, that its end game gear, except for the accessory.
and with that gear you should be closing it with 1m remaning like pretty much all DS5 party do nowadays.

but again this is a pointless discussion, you can believe me or not, ask your guild do w/e you want but i find it very “stupid” that there’s the believe that NO ONE could do DS5 before trashing resets on DS2-3 to get a dysnai set (tbh i still haven’t got one as its mostly useless) while on the deadiest server of them all we did it from day one just by using dps aoe classes and barrier or cc cryo.

SR is already top tier in Scout category.
Imagine the weaker ones XD.

Also I think is actually fair to bring this up since Mergen with the same budget can easily be top DS5 clearer with orbital. They have the top aoe as well as top single target in one build for p-atk class.
Because mergen is so good, it opens variety that you can just go Mergen and 2 free classes, be it fletcher/ranger for dps or Falcon/Appraiser for aoe and support.

Demon Ichor is so cheap. 1 Goddess = 3 demon price.
Same budget might be false, it’s cheaper budget.

Let’s price it solely base on VVR and Ichor.
Mergen = 600 + 120 x 4 = 1080 mil
SR = 150 + 320 x 4 = 1430 mil…

Yeah, and many other classes don’t even need demon ichor to “fix” their class.
Demon ichor is only about 75% dps boost in solo content (50% uptime w/o diev), yet their dps still surpass us with 400% dps boost full uptime.

That’s why Blub can say something like with enough wiz you can beat DS5 as verna.

Bow has plenty of support.
Ranger is not bow exclusive, but they nerfed xbow version so much it might as well be.
Fletcher is also very bow-leaning with a bow vaivora.

I was hoping we would get a musket+cannon compatible class. Now cannon is kinda left to rot.

Kefka was a clown in the thematic side. There are other clown variants like mimic, jester and trickster (also bard, but it’s more on the edge), if you look for these you’ll find more clown classes. The archetype (if you can even call it that) is defined as more of a skirmisher with heavy control and debuff skills, kinda like a… mosquito.

Not sure about puppeteer, but old mimic was likely scrapped because it was going to be a hidden class and it wouldn’t have enough skills for the new R:B system. Clown might inherit one or two of its skills.

Clown… …very good name. I was expecting Scout to get a gun class, but that sort of name lends itself to sounding like it would use either weapon. Good!

If they don’t plan on releasing Mimic or Puppeteer as actual classes, i hope they at least make the class costumes buyable with TP or whatever. Like those old C3 costumes. They’re actually kind of pretty.

I’m still a teeny bit salty that Centurion’s class costume has never been available after removal. It was my favorite costume…

I think daggers and pistols are perfectly fine for a clown.

me too T_T I had a char dedicated to shepherd and it wasn’t used for a long long time…now it’s a priest but still would change it immediately… xD …but shepherd was already advertised in the betas and it’s nowhere…

I sometimes wondering if it’s possible there are rly rly…true…hidden classes in the game… I guess it’s impossible especially after rebuild but it’s so weird for me that there are these classes that had their model/outfit rdy and they never made it into the game and they didn’t even released the costumes…
I think it’s a bit weird especially that we are talking about more than 1 class. Maybe they want to release them someday but seems a bit unlikely at this point… Like there are 4-5 cleric classes in the queue… xD (also sry for those who like it but they released Crusa an only cool looking but quite boring class when we could have Macumbeiro, Fortune Teller, Shepherd or Lama?..boo…)

We also had an alpaca pet found once in the files tho…so i guess they just make stuff then scrap them…but why…I want my alpaca too… :frowning:

i just realized your equation is a little unfair. If SR must use saint oath just to boost limacon, then mergen must use dalia (channeling downfall) OR gabija (charging homing arrow) too, ergo it become like this

Mergen = 600 + 320 x 4 = 1.880 billion
SR = 150 + 320 x 4 = 1.430 billion

Most mergen player use demon set. Downfall art is not the ultimate skill to justify using dalia.

Doesnt mean mergen player is forbidden to use dalia and SR is forbidden to use demon set too
