I’d be more inclined to think that less “lawful” classes would be in an outlaw style base, like bokor or other unorthodox, shaman-like clerics and wizards, and similarly unorthodox archers and swordsmen.

Of course, we also don’t know if outlaw serves as the base class, or perhaps a class which fills out gaps in the new base.

Meh i think dualwielding cls will be thief cls.
Like i write yesterday.

Classes like Doppel/Murmillio will be swordman after the patch.

Thiefs would have Dex as main stat Dodge//Crit.

Outlaw could be some sort of Adv. Rogue/Corsair dagger or sword + pistol?

So my Prediction would be Dagger/pistol/Rapier/Sword for thiefs.

I might be biased since i want to keep my Corsair3/Fencer 3 but they would fit so well in the thief tree ^^

Finally i’ll play with a catagoonlancer all c3!!

I enjoy this 2H spear build as well, I just hope cataphract will finally get the big end of the stick this time and not become useless again.

What the… I swear everything you said was exactly what I was thinking about the 5th class tree.

However, I really hope the new class branch is NOT just shifting existing classes into them, like you said with templar or paladin into tank branch.

You guys are so optimistic i kinda feel bad for thinking this will be the last nail in the game’s coffin.

Nothing that made the game unique will remain after this goes live.

And the worst, it won’t solve the problem. They need to change the mechanics of skills,but they just keep adjusting damage valors.

The only good that comes from this is that it looks like a solution to the impossible skills bars the rank system made possible to make.

What made the lower classes bad wasn’t damage,it’s the effect(low rank swordman has lots of clunky,slow skills that hit like two enemies while you have doppel/dragoon that presses one button do do a screen clear)

Several issues with the this bit, how would you balance PVP if you strip the defensive classes from a melee class, subjected to the 3 other classes that have either ranged or tile-placement type of attacks?

The only solution is to reduce the 3 other classes damage by 40-60% in both PVE and PVP for the suggested “warrior” class or to buff the damage of the class by a large percentage (80-140%) for a high risk high reward playstyle.

& personally, i dislike the holy trinity. it dumbs down the gameplay.

“Oh hey I wanna be the DPS so i can just spam a single button to attack without having to think about receiving attacks d’oh”

I like the idea of them adding tanks to the game.

Anyways, about the changes, I also dont think it will be all doom and gloom. Yes, we will have to adapt, but also some exclusive class designs will be able to come back into the fold.

If it is well implemented, it will be a great change.
Fixed status isnt bad at all either, as we will have to use equipment for it. Right now most builds is just full Spr or int.

My major concern is content update. Those two new raids were good, but we need more challenging content with non RNG rewards.

I’m kinda curious about how are they going to deal with the hidden classes (RC, miko, etc, etc). I mean, if job now is 45, maybe those are going to have more skills? I would like to see more rune skills :slight_smile: .

What if some of those Latin skills that were found are related to Chaplain? This might indicate that hidden classes will be expanded to regular 45 level ones.

That’s a possibility considering some of those skills seemed to fit Appraiser and Shinobi as well.

Remove hp from con and add hp to enhancement of armour.

That’s a possibilty but it doesn’t say much yet tbh… One skill definitely seemed like a new Miko/Shinobi skill but only 1 and other classes like Necromancer also seemed like getting 1 new skill. So nothing indicates yet how it will be. As much as some of them can be Chaplain skills they can be skills for others too…

Also I still don’t think it is clear why so many classes get new skills… Maybe it is needed for balance… or maybe there still will be somekind of master class thing… I mean I don’t rly see the need for example the wizard skeletons other then they sound pretty cool…

it would be crazy if shinobi gets clones up to level 15, it will be an army of lag :haha:
and the Cooldown will be 5min long if you use all the overhits

the real point is (how @Suchi said) if they not solve the engine problem, the lag… anyway… the all problems who interrupt an fluid or almost fluid game… “doesn t’ matter” at all

the pve content except wb’s still playable (except wb’s because to me its impossible or almost stay in a same place with wb’s… SOO laggy. like 0~5fps when i can run ms2 with none problem)

but in EVERY mmo… who “say the rules” on market is the pvp
if dont exist pvp, there is no market.

ps : i dont like pvp but I recognize it contributes a lot for the market.

As long they keep making cosmetic to get money in their pockets and add new classes they can careless of making a better game to play.

They know the huge issue and claim that they did some work in terms of server stability but in reality nothing or more lag and bugs surface.Have you guys not occur that every patch has either a new bug or and old one from CBT that never was fix?They create problems to later on fix them to make it seem they are working.

How many times we told them new classes,new toys and new cosmetics shiit won’t save TOS but ppl love throwing their money at them for 0 end content. Think…why would you need to grind for the best weapon and gear for?The same weapon and gear you use to clear the TOP PVE content is enough.You might say dude its for GVG … what GVG?..we don’t even have an actual GVG ,they are still testing it out in KTOS lol.

My point is that instead pilling a bunch of ■■■■ on top of ■■■■ fix your damn lol foundation

Flag me all you want many of you know its the truth.Changing the rank system and adding new classes won’t make the game more enjoyable to play.

Mounted classes still get stuck in T pose when frozen. This is a CBT bug lmao
