Because the 250% summon damage is additive with the existing damage modifiers from Desmodus and Gather Corpse (900-1000%). This results in diminishing returns, giving a whole lot less damage than it seems.

Every Wizard should be using Arcane Explosion as much as possible as is. The damage it provides is very high, and this set makes it even better.

As far as IMC described, the user needs to deal critical damage, not the summons. This is pretty easy as summoners should already be gearing Critical Rate, and Arcane Explosion makes it trivial. For summoners doing DPS in any end game content (raids, challenge mode, etc) the user dealing magic damage in addition to the summons is normal if you want to do competitive DPS.

As Physical Damage dealer (pasiutes) who this new damage actually work ? because for what i can understand it only proc if the enemy is attacking you, this work for CM7 because mobs will attack you and you can just AOE and any of those can hit you, but for legend raid boss pretty much never attack you (under normal circuntances) so that mean that will never proc ?
its seems pretty useless, the only good thing is those bonus are literally super HIGH and thats the only thing you will want it in the end.

Why do I get the feeling that almost nobody touch the arcane explosion skill and think that it drain sp as fast as getting hit by gigante in PvP while genbu is on. With food, my wizard have 14k sp, and skill only cost like 400 sp as much, with Arcane explosion on I pretty much spam every skill that Omny kino sage has, save for the 2 channeling skill and haven’t ran out of sp, by the time I ran out of sp the magic shield only need 30 seconds more to finish cooldown so it’s a 50% up time and you get to nuke everything

As far as it’s described, the enemy just needs to be doing any attack. Bosses constantly do attacks, they only stop when they need to walk or they are crowd controlled somehow. In most cases though, the effect should almost always trigger. The enemy doesn’t need to be attacking you, just be attacking or using any kind of skill at all.

In challenge mode AoE situations, it will trigger the buff that gives you 100% damage bonus as it is extremely likely to hit at least one target that is attacking with any AoE, then you will deal 100% more damage to everything. After that it is easy to proc the 500 Critical Rate which is helpful too.

It’s a good set, just very odd in its implementation.

And for those of us with high SPR, I have over 21k SP. It lasts even longer and it’s easier to use. Even non-summoner Wizards can gear SPR with ichor setups like INT/CON/SPR/Crit. The caster set itself gives a large amount of SP on the necklace alone, and probably more on the bracelets.

It requires you to always use it when your SP is full to get its full potential, I’ve done some tests and my SP ends around 20s from usage, the problem is we are constantly casting skills therefore is almost impossible to be at full SP whenever the 60s from M-Shield ends, you will need to use a elixir to fill it rapidly and possible other potions, losing the over time SP recovery from pots since Arcane Explosion interrupts any SP regen from items. After Arcane eexplosion ends you will end up with 0 SP and you will be forced to use all your pots to rapidly restore you sp and hopefully reachs full SP again before the next M-Shield.
All of that for a 50% min crit chance. Why go through such a hassle when you can get a decent crit rate with the new c-rates values and get almost the same results without using it. Isn’t crit capped at 50% or this skill magically increase our chances to 100%.
Unless this attribute has hidden effects like increasing our crit damage by 50% or something like that I stand by my point.

Minimum critical chance is a chance to proc a critical when the normal formula fails to roll a crit. So basically if you had a 60% chance to crit without arcane explosion, it wil lbecome 80% chance to crit with arcane explosion.

I suppose its better than ignore our crit rate, but my main problem with the skill is the functionality, I would gladly take half the skill effect or even less to get rid of the rapid drain effect.

Would the misrus shield help with arcane explosion or is it useless for that matter, anyone knows?

Some of the sets require Drakonas accessories to make, while others require Carnas accessories (from Uphill Defense).

What amazes me is that almost all effect boosts require dragon strength 2, which almost nobody can attain in a lifetime…

So the new raid is like a third portal in Stele Road? A third version of the Legend Raid (easy/normal/hard)? A new version of the unique raid?

As if getting the materials to achieve Level 5 on current Arks isn’t hard enough,10 more levels into every Arts Enhancement Attributes for 1.6 x 1.25 = 2x more damage on every skill at the cost of more materials, more RNG with new “ark stone” drops, gacha Vaivora, possibly more Nucle Powder farming and so on …

I know its just kTest so its subject to change, but i’m just saying, please don’t test the limits of the player base’s patience with having to farm and/or buy all of that.

As long as it’s put for testing in kTest is fine, but if they want to put gacha vaivora, i hope they’ll be properly lambasted by the korean audience. Especially considering it’s a selector. People farming find one once in a blue moon, and it’s likely to be something that won’t even be of use to them (and when there are so few dropped, even trading gets hard…here in Fedimian many vaivora weapons haven’t even been dropped once).

Regarding the arks, they said before that when they raised the levels, they would decrease the experience needed for the lower ones. And it is indeed mentioned in the patch notes. So it isn’t particularly an issue…dunno if they also reduce the materials needed for leveling up, though.
