Well Smite is always good to get even for a healer or magical cleric since it allows you to smash the early mobs while your class skill set is still incomplete. But yeah after a while it becomes obsolete, so I would not invest 5 points into the skill, when you have more important stuff like Guardian Saint or Heal to max.
Smite still has that thing now where using it even once will give you a physical damage buff +10% that’s easily refreshed, so its still worth putting 1 point in for physical clerics. Just a sad thing for damage skill to be used as a buff instead of its damage.
If Smite was an Exorcist skill, it would’ve gotten another buff instead of a nerf.
At the same time, we have Thrust with more than double Smites skill factor, a lower cooldown, the same overheat charges and an arts attribute.
IMC really hates physical Clerics,I am kinda upset bc magical Cleric DPS is far ahead compare to the physical.Look at Exo,Druid and Sader… we had a bit of hope with Smite and now they took it away.If they don’t shape up the physical aspect on the Cleric tree by fall,I would mostly quit this game.
I am very disappointed
Can someone kindly tell me if they fixed Alchemist Homu? Or it’s still impossible to access?
We got to many buffs with a short duration or stupid drawbacks which is not helping at all. However this 10% buff seem to last longer because of the long duration and the 5 OH.I have to admit that it’s a good small start but we need more higher damage base skills and stop with these debuffs and buffs.
Physical Clerics relied a lot on using combos aka certain rotations to get max benefits on their buffs/debuffs effects and yet doesn’t even come close to the Magical DPS which requires 0!!! chain combos. You would think with all the buffs and debuffs stacking up on the target(s) versus a magical Cleric that hits 1 skill to get high damage that would be on the same level or beat magical Cleric dps.
Imagine performing these chain combos without proper CC for GTW and PVP lol.Furthermore, on many high end contents such as Boruta and GTW some players lag extremely so you can imagine how frustrating it may be when your buffs or debuffs timer is running out and your damage skills won’t go off and even if it did still wouldn’t come close in competing with magical Clerics.
IMC needs to wake up and boost Clerics physical classes base damage. On the other hand, I am not sure if the Koreans even play physical Clerics back in Ktos enough to give more love in all Clerics skills base damage.
that 0,5 second invincibility of fade is like a gimmick buff lol
you need to be precisely use it the rite time even with 1 second
and with 0,5 second you need very good RTT/ping and very very good timing.
didnt they realize that majority of players RTT and ping are mediocre or just acceptable?
i ll rather use engkraetia or another safe invincibility method
unless i miss-translate it that its 0,5 per level or per attribute level
scouts now even better at this invincibilty stuffs now and evasion works like charm for someone who heavily invest on it+scouts evasions buffs. its kinda reminisce the old day i play ro dodge build cause the other day i saw someone playing highly invested dodge build to beat raid
So whatever updates they get on ktos we get on itos 100% of the time?
That’s correct, with the exception of premium items and events.
IMC stated this as their balance plan for classes on September 17, 2019:
We’ve received the changes for 1 and 3 at this point. There have been some changes done to the classes in category 2, such as Thaumaturge’s Swell Hands and some adjustments to Chaplain, but largely, they haven’t been changed.
It remains to be seen if they will continue to make changes for those classes listed. IMC previously stated the following in regards to Homunculus, when they removed the ability to obtain the materials to craft it:
They have also previously stated that they have no intention of making “crafting classes” (aka, those with yellow icons) any more viable for battle than they currently are. In addition, they placed Alchemist in category 2 up there, calling it a “support class.”
So, we don’t really have a timeline for an update at the moment, if there will ever be one.
Not to mention classes that received changes but are already out to the void because none of its skills got a inflated SFR.
As examples: Nak Muay, Shinobi and High Lander. There are more.
-
IMC understands that certain classes have complicated skill mechanics that are difficult to re-balance properly just from skill factor changes, such as Sadhu
- Sadhu rework further complicates its skill mechanics to make things worse, and was only given skill factor changes to make up for it without fixing the main problem of the class. -
IMC says increasing skill factor for certain support classes would not help, such as Chaplain
- Chaplain simply only got skill factor increases, other than Miko Clap being able to affect Cappella. -
IMC talks about reworking Sadhu, Monk and Chaplain on around late January 2019
- Sadhu and Monk changes did not amount to anything, but more importantly, Chaplain never got touched at all until early this year I think, 2020. Chaplain was never mentioned until those balance plans on September 17, 2019. -
IMC announced skin tone development in around 2017.
- Say hello to 2019 when it finally came out. Reached iToS in 2020.
There’s more than enough to show that, not only do IMC’s plans take a long time to implement, but IMC’s plans should be taken with a huge grain of salt as IMC can also change their plans drastically without warning. Just pray and hope for the best in IMC, but don’t expect much so you won’t be too disappointed when it finally comes and doesn’t meet expectations.
Cries in the difference between planned and actual Sadhu Rework
cries even harder in master circles
Okay, making master circles for 80+ classes seems like a long and tedious task, but we’ve been teased with it for years.
alchemist is quite a good support.their pots is meta.even now they can create 20% elixir with arts.not to mention all other booster pots.but i hope that arts not an end. the demand to make it viable for battle is high and memory of how good ragnarok alchemist+ as a dps is unforgetable. just simply make a new red class of alchemist if they wont make alchemist more viable for battle.one that filled with dps skills using homunculus and damaging potions. maybe they can even name it creator or genetic and continue the burden of having high expectation and getting compared a lot to its kind-of-predecessor
Or they might as well incorporate shop class skills into the 5 base classes and make the former shop classes viable for battle by giving them new attack and support skills.
@lastea you should read as this guy said. i also believe its true and kinda make sense. those colors class means something.
The color for the classes is not accurate I think.
