why not using +16 Savi Rapier and change other eq to varna ? it is not problem right losing good random stats for one items? u can upgrade set effect with varna dagger/shield right?
Guys, please, it is only a game.
All that falls apart since no one, no matter what armor they wear, will start the next content patch loaded with new Ichors with all those upgraded stat from the get-go. Players will still have to farm Ichorable materials to make Ichors first before even thinking of equipping it.
About those desirable ichors, Unique and Rare grade gear drop rate is set very low, and Vaivora gear not only has a low drop rate, but is only available in Challenge Mode Stage 6 - 7. You will still take a long time to even get those Ichors, let alone using and benefiting from it. I recall players talking about how rare and expensive Vaivora equipment is, and I recall you are from Fedimian, no guarantee that people will even sell Vaivora before talking about its lavish price. Until then or until Disnai/Giltine Raid, players still have time to farm Moringponia, Ichors, Varna and Vaivora.
By the way, IIRC Moringponia Pictis set has no critical rate. Moringponia Triukas set does have critical rate that results in the same amount of critical rate as Drakonas Pasiutes set at 570, but requires +52 total enhance to reach the same amount of critical rate as Drakonas Pasiutes at +30 total enhance.
Thatâs what i was planning to do initially. It makes having the crit rate required quite trickier though. Excel sheet in hand, given that normal enemies may have up to 2200 crit resistance, assuming the old formula is still used outside of pvp, i would require around 4300 crit rate if no debuffs are considered, or 3400 with balestra fente. Even if i had all the random ichors with maxed crit rate in the armor and subweapon, along with drakonas pasiutes, i would still need olè at a good level to have enough crit rate to get to 60% crit chance. If i wanted to use moringponia pictis for the added crit attack, i would need both balestra fente and olè to get to 60% crit chance (meaning, i canât have it all the time; and when i donât, it decreases rather sharply); given weâre talking about normal enemies, presumibly in challenges, that balestra fente cannot always be onâŚthe monsters will die and respawn before its cooldown ends.
And thatâs for normal enemies in a best case scenario, anyway. Weekly bosses will get 3300 crit resistance. Go figure.
So, can it be done? Theoretically, yes. It will require a ton of luck in dropping 430 equips and rerolling them (or getting lens for maxing values later on). It will also force me to have crit rate on most equips instead of other attack stats, though, whereas the higher amount given by a weapon would free up spaces in other equips. It also requires me to spend several points in a crit buff.
Meanwhile, whereas iâll have to put all that work and skill points, other classes will just get most of that crit rate for free in their vaivora ichors (as said above, the vaivora two handed sword alone gives far more than the whole enhanced drakonas pasiutes set). Along with higher physical attack due to ornaments. So much for balance.
man, you are too obsessed with crit chance you forgot rule number 1 in gaming: to have fun. Reading your wories, instead of reducing your real worldâs stress, this game seems adding more stress to you
So what? Even considering that gearing up will be more difficult for everyone, some classes will still end up with better results (and in some cases, due to ornaments and scout main-hand attribute, they also get a significant attack boost from the start compared to other classes).
And as i mentioned above, Moringponia Pictis indeed have no crit rate and gives a significant crit attack boost instead. Seeing as a vaivora two handed sword gives far more critical rate than a whole enhanced pasiutes drakonas set, it makes switching to that Pictis set for added crit attack easy. If your class isnât privileged enough to have crit rate in your weapons, well, too bad, should have done a doppel instead or you have to scrounge for any crit rate point you can get to make up for it. Thatâs how a single fixed ichor ends up being so impactful for the rest of the gear.

Of course not, but do you think there will be additional gear once weekly bosses are out if they havenât got it even in korea so far? No. Thus doing math on what it will be out is perfectly rational. You people talk so much about lack of preparation but canât even think a bit about the future, go figure.

It will require a ton of luck in getting it and rerolling because unlike other classes i wonât get a oh-so-nice fixed ichor that already gives a ton of it; thatâs the point. It would be evident if you would, you know, actually read the posts you reply to.
3)As i said above, i already have varna armors and subweapon ready in storage and waiting for ataka; only the weapon is +16 savinoseâŚdone because it wasnât meant to have significant stat differences until they suddenly flipped the table; working toward a +16 varna, but it will require time and luck yet again. Explained already many times during the last day. So either you canât read or youâre just trolling, dunno which of the two. So no need to reply further, i guess iâll just ignore you, not that youâre saying anything useful either way.
@Don_Falce here is good news for you
this youtuber is a fencer lover just like you (he even possesed vaivora rapier ichor already!), see his crit rate (966) and calm yourself down
you better approach this youtuber and consult your worries with him. If he satisfied already with 966 critrate, why dont you?
At that point, its a balancing issue IMC always had, not the equipment itself if its what you claim the problem is, thatâs all.
With all the numbers you put out, you already can work out and know whether a +16 Savinose with no critical rate Random Stat Ichors or a +11 Varna with such an Ichor has more damage since critical rate is so important for Fencers to deal damage. +16 enhancement isnât easy to get, and is not a strict requirement to play the game. Either prepare enough to get your +16 enhancement, or stop if its too much.
As Iâve always said, the choice is all up to each player, simple as that. Nothing more, nothing less.
It doesnât add up though. Check the armors shown - the violet stat is crit rate (get tosneet, order by crit rate, switch to korean and compare the text). The armors alone have more than 1k, over 400 from the rapier and a green gem too. Itâs far more than 966, so i guess the addon isnât working properly. And itâs like i wrote above - if you want to use pictis, it ends up requiring heavy investments in crit rate in the rest of the equip for a fencer (instead of opting for attack stats).

Wish they would take the Diablo/PoE approach and create seasons with Hardcore/Normal ladders. This would probably pump some life back in the game. Black Desert will be doing something similar to this and it actually got me wanting to play that game again.
that âmustâ is from âanony mustâ, see the That part with uppercase which indicating the start of sentence
He clearly said his crit is 3800 > 8000.
i was clarifying whether 966 crit rate is the result of broken addon or not. That video is weeks old, at the time of the video he is indeed has 966 crit rate, ergo the addon is not broken.
i feel stab in the back imc refuses to buff my wheel
This is fair.
Phys cleric needs love, for real.
