But paladin have a good place.
Either remove dmg skill to be pure tank, or defensive to be pure dps

Their defensive buffs (except stone skin) are situational right? They don’t cover the cooldown time. As for being defensive, they should have some CC. Meanwhile, I prefer they have Grand Cross and Holy Cross instead of Elemental, even though I understand they want synergy with Zealot, but it does not seem to interest anyone.

Blossom Blader

Blossom Blader is a new Swordsman class that uses a one handed sword (alone or with dagger/shield) or a two handed sword.

Current Known Skills

Anything is subject to change. This is extremely early datamined information.

Flowering
Grants you a buff that causes you inflict stacks of [Flowering] debuff on enemies when using Blossom Blader skills. This debuff causes the enemy to take more damage from Blossom Blader skills for each stack on the enemy.

Duration: ? seconds

Fallen Blossom
If an enemy within a range of 250 (half of your screen) has stacks of the [Flowering] debuff, immediately move to the enemy and slash, removing all stacks of [Flowering] and dealing damage. The enemy will receive a status abnormality based on their [Flowering] debuff.

Skill Factor: ?%

Control Blade
Summons three swords behind your back, following your character for a set time. While active, the blades will attack nearby enemies that are inflicted with the [Flowering] debuff.

Skill Factor: ?%

Flash
Charge forward and deal damage to enemies in front of you and at the area you dash to. If you critically hit at least one enemy, the cooldown is reset.

Skill Factor: ?%

Blossom Slash
Hide and begin striking a single target several times in quick succession. After the skill ends, you will reappear in front of your opponent.

Skill Factor: ?%

Start Up
Begin charging, and decrease the cooldown of all Blossom Blader skills based on the percentage of the charge you complete. While charging you only take 50% of damage from enemies, but if you take at least 10% of your maximum HP in damage or stop charging, you will be penalized with a 3 second stun and a 30% HP loss.

It can still be the high powered turret. It is the magical Zealot.
It just removed the range, which is the disappointing thing, and that makes Exo being the only range magical offensive Cleric, I believe.

They can make it simple, just having your spirit on top of an enemy, and they get damage.
Instead of increase DPS on auto attack, they should have slow or blind applied to that target or tile (10% on attack, assume attack speed is fast).

I thought the OOB concept allows Sadhu to create the gap between tanks and range/support, it was suppose to dominate the middle. Now I feel this could be a tank nuker with magical damage based against physical targets.

And here you think IMC might actually promote swordmans one handed sword + no shield-attribute.

Why can’t there be a single class that makes use of that? Fencer has no shield but rapier, hackapella always uses shield as it’s basically a combo with templar/hoplite/rodelero/peltasta, and murmillio is also a shield class…

Blossom blader + retiarius + anything (e.g. nak muay/templar infantry/barbarian/highlander) could be an interesting way to play the game if the cards are played right (wielding one-handed sword + dagger, they could change the swordsman sword attribute to apply also when using dagger instead of shield).

If it’s just another deeeeeeps addon for doppel/barb builds then no thank you, the game doesn’t need this, it’s boring and not original in any way, shape or form.

Their skills don’t need a shield, so you can use the class without it (at least, based on the information we know so far).

I’ll edit the post to clarify.

1h sword or 2h sword, if you can use w 2h sword, you don’t need shield… theoretically

Plot twist what if the new flower warrior class is called Hwarang or something close to that.

I have a question. They usually released 4 classes based on each tree, because well, we had 4 trees.

Last time IMC used those 4 slots to fill Archer and Scout because they were pretty much divided.

But now, that the trees are kinda “number balancend”, will they release 4 classes anyway? Or will it be 5 classes?

It will be because all their damage is already registered as slash damage. I mean, the best way to boost them will be with Doppel, Barb and also Highlander as the new crossguard boosts slash damage now.

Archer and Scout are way behind other trees… I doubt that the next class update will not bring at least 1 class for each of these 2.

I agree that this would be more logic, but IMC releasing one more class when with 4 they already have issues makes me worry…

kTEST patch added all changes announced on the roadmap, but nothing for Hunter and Sadhu so far

Also, a BGM player.

Albeit, some skills did have their base/scaling skill factors changed compared to the other patch.
