Demon Lord Moringponia: Goddess Event

Unlike previous field bosses, rewards can be obtained by saviors without being directly involved with defeating the field boss.

When Demon Lord Moringponia is defeated, the Goddess event will begin, and all saviors can participate.

image

The event is done by the Goddesses to celebrate the defeat of the powerful Demon Lord. Any savior can use the button to participate, and by spending silver, they can receive a reward. A portion of all silver used on the event will go to the top five parties that contributed to defeating Moringponia.

The event will last for 5 minutes, or until two legendary items have been obtained from the event.

Field Boss System Changes

The current high-end field bosses have low rewards compared to how inaccessible they are, and can be called “their own kind of content.” We will improve this as follows.

Spawn Time
Current: 4 to 8 hours after defeat
After Changes: No longer random, always spawns 4 hours after defeat.

Spawn Location
Spawn locations are now confined to one map.

Mirtis, Rexipher, Helgasercle, and Marnox: Inner Wall District 8
Blut, Zaura, Nuaele: Emmett Forest

As saviors get higher level and have stronger equipment, the normal lower level field bosses become too weak, and are often defeated very quickly by those who first find them.

This has been going on for a long time within the game. The development team has decided that hunting these is not fun, and so they are being removed from the game.

The rewards granted by these field bosses will be moved to the high-end field bosses (demon lords).

We recognize there is equipment that drops from these field bosses that is not required as a material to craft high-end items, nor is required for collections. If these items end up integrated into the high-end field boss drops, we will adjust or move the drops if they cause problems with obtaining regular high-end field boss rewards.

the removal of field bosses is kinda stupid… i get where they are coming from seeing there is always one group constantly farming the field bosses but removing them entirely and putting the loot into demon lord’s loot pool makes it even harder for some players that casually farm them if they happen to find them in the wild to make the accessories

what they should do is just lower the amount of fragments and such is needed to make them accessories or something o;

just thought this after posting make it so we can reroll the cubes as many times we want and make it like the gem merchants where the more we reroll the higher the cost it gets (say start with 100k silver and it goes up 10k each reroll)

All those weapons have some really neat abilities attached to them and they finally got rid of the copy & paste +1 aoe attack ratio for every new staff weapon they create.

I can understand the deletion of most field bosses. You have more challenging bosses with better availability and rewards in hunting grounds and raid dungeons.

Last but not least, it looks like every class is getting an arts books attribute seeing as there are 3 volumes for every base class.

Each encyclopedia has 5 arts, there are 5 volumes (assuming 3rd volume also has 5 arts), so each class tree has 15 arts given to 14 - 17 classes … I assume some classes will be left out with no arts?

Hopefully there’s more than just that in terms of skills, classes and game-play to change things up and make it more fun. I struggle to think that adding Katadikazo and Dragon Fall to everything, or putting Fire Walls behind Corrida Finale would stir things up enough.

would be more laggy in feud and WB

If low lvl field bosses are being removed, I wonder how the “The one who experienced death” hidden quest will be doable, since it asks you to kill Chappa. Knowing Imc, maybe they will forget this quest exist…

lel. Some type of “Boruta” monopoly in Field Boss. Will always be the same party/guild making a profit.

This new Field Boss will be another test to see how many players the server than endure on the same channel.

PVP as means to reward PVE elements is always bound to fail.

More “hail the whales” content, making them richer. I prefer they fix outdated content instead of adding more, we have an “arts system” but Alchemist still have skills like Magnum Opus that are basically useless, same for Homunculus, without mentioning the fact that some materials for creating an Alchemist Stone were deleted in Ktos, it’s been years since we don’t see a good use for homunculus and Magnum Opus, the recipes from that skill are useless and outdated as it was mentioned before, and some crafting items from the class are not really needed anymore, who needs +57 attack at this point, from a lvl15 attack booster? lvl 15 …

Nice, I will do that quest before they remove the field boss.

I don’t think you should remove content that players can do without a party, such as Lesser Field Bosses. They may not be challenging in terms of action, but they are challenging in other terms.
Please add more content for people who don’t play in guilds or parties.

What? What’s not fun is farming 210 ominous fragments that only drop from field bosses because there is a 5-person cube limit per field boss. Field bosses themselves are fine. By removing these lesser field bosses only people who are in guilds or parties can participate in any field boss because they’ll all be Demon Lords. All they had to do is remove all the trash inside the field boss cube and either make these materials easier to get or reducing the amount of fragments you need for each accessory. A lot of lower level players would still enjoy field bossing and the concept itself is really cool. They should be adding more field bosses rather than removing them. This is stupid.

Why are you people complaining? Two important things to say about Ominous Spirit Fragments.

Currently:

  • Monopolized by 1 or 2 parties.
  • Only drops 5 cubes per boss.

After patch:

  • No longer being monopolized by “said” parties
  • Improved drop rate, 25 cubes.

That’s just going to kill the prices of the item, which also kills the purpose of competition. Market prices are fixed by said parties, that’s the only reason Ominous fragments cost 800k each on Klaipeda server, we know who’s monopolizing it, we just don’t care (nor you do, apparently).

image

Ominous Card Albums are gonna make them cheaper if you hate to farm or compete for them.

I personally dislike monopolies that makes specific people fix prices on things for their own benefit. (See: Boruta Seals - Drakonas recipes from Melody).

I’m not disagreeing that Ominous Spirit Fragments are going to be more readily available on the market. My qualms are the fact that they’re completely removing these lesser field bosses because they think people find them “not fun”. People don’t hate lesser field bosses, people hate hunting them because they are currently the only method to obtain Ominous Spirit Fragments. Now after this patch the field bosses that exist are only going to be high level Demon Lords. Their reasoning for completely removing lesser field bosses makes no sense.

If they want to change the method in which people obtain Ominous Spirit Fragments so they aren’t monopolized by one or two parties in each server that’s fine, I’m all for it. But instead of completely deleting lesser field bosses they could have just simply alter their loot by removing the Ominous Spirit Fragments from their loot pool.
