Y’all really want to farm forever, chasing the “best in slot” gear?

How many times do you have to work hard to get end game gear, only to end up knowing there is a new one around the corner?

How many times have y’all raged because of the rng anvil of ToS?

My question is do you really always have to have the best gear, sacrificing your gaming experience chasing it vs actually playing and enjoying?

No. Just get velcoffer gear right now. Wait multiple batches of new equipment, then change if you wish…

We are all entitled to choose and sometimes it is our own decision that makes the game a “daily chore” than entertainment…

The thing is if the set bonuses don’t compare to Velcoffer Set effects it doesn’t matter how new the gear is. Nearly all builds can be played with a one handed weapon + shield so in turn you can still hold onto your Velcoffer Set and then just upgrade your Weapon to the 420 Legendary weapon.

Problem is how do you make something better than the Velcoffer Set effect that every current PvE build uses. Not many choices are given to the Devs when you make a set effect as +100% more DMG, like what do you do at this point +150% more DMG and then what? Your stuck doing the exact same set effect every big patch again and again with a higher more multiplier active buff.

They now have to remove that set effect and replace it with something that can be equally as powerful but not brake the set.

Also to make things worse they are still sticking with the Ichor System forcing people into making multiple ichors of the same unique raid item so they can pass it on to the newer Legendary Item. This is lazy development and they need to work on Items that don’t have overpowering effects like the Asio Pistol, Massinios Mace, Massinios Crossbow, Asio Mace, Massinios Bow, Wastrel Sword, Wastrel Cannon.

Also how in the world did the devs allow everything to crit but forgot to let Wugushi skills crit, like i know its a forgotten class but holy s-hit.

Proposed changes for Wugushi

  • Allow it to Crit
  • Remove Jincan Gu and turns into an attribute with the exact same scaling where if a target dies under a poison effect it has a chance to summon the insects
  • Remove Zhendu and turn it into an attribute where if your poisons on the target crit make the target take more poison damage

All physical DoTs still don’t actually (at least the ones I can think of off the top of my head).

Hard to say if it’s an oversight or deliberate.

Immolation(Physical Fire DoT), Fanatic Illusion(Physical Lightning DoT), Emphatic Trust (Physical Holy DoT), Taze (Physical Lightning DoT), Thorns (Magic Bleed DoT), Tomahawk (Physical Burn DoT), Dissonanz (Physical DoT)

All these DoTs can crit but i think IMC really just forgot about Wugushi and some skills.

tbh wugushi should be red class. All the skills they have should be considered dps. Like rlly, if they want it to be green they need to provide more utility skills and remove some dps skills. As now theres 5 dps in one class. Which in some case, more dps skills than some red icon class out there…

And then you have Monk with almost all DPS skills but all doing less damage than other Cleric DPS class while offering nothing else other than damage.

IMO Inquisitor is far and ahead the strongest Cleric DPS class. I just wish IMC can get their balancing right one day.

Nah. I am aware mmorpg has to continuously evolve and has to have gear progression. But ToS culture makes all players think they always have to update to a new set of gear, +11 them and trans10 them. You know what happens? Player burn out.

How many players worked so hard when HG raffye were released. Then Masinios. Then Zvaigzde. Then Asio. Then Wastrel. Then velco.

My only point here is that I hope many players realize they have to be smarter in not engaging in updting gears 100% of the time…

No hate, just hoping more will be able to actually enjoy the game than get tired of playing it.

Inq is one of the most op class out there. Sometimes I wonder, what are they even thinking? Giving 50% def ignore and 35% def ignore while boosting damage on demon monster with judgement. To make it worst they give haste to PD. And if you pair those two, just 2 classes give you everything you need, mobility, damage, healing and debuff immune.

It’s called shitty game design. Sadly, most of the MMORPGs fall in this category. Lazy and endless grind walls instead of true enjoyable content.

GW2 is the only one I see so far that stands as a true good MMORPG.

Haha, the 50% defense ignore is crazy enough to outdps anything Monk can do (heck, even other classes), then Ripper with that AoE, then with cooldown reduction attribute, and ample utility skills to boot for diverse game content. Add the natural synergies they already had pre-Re:Build, along with the new forced synergies given to Inquisitor (not like they were that great), Inquisitor is just in a marvelous spot right now. Funny how Inquisitor-Zealot-Exorcist is a dang great DPS build already, trifecta of rank 8 classes lel.

“Unique and Personality”, “Balanced”, “560 builds” or something … bleh. Hoping IMC does not forget to rework and balance classes along with their future updates and all.

PS: Modafinil made no sense being on Plague Doctor, made more sense on Monk with their close-range skill set.

Give haste to hunter, everyone is happy.

Because wugushi DoT is more suitable for proccing bleed/mine loader to proc extra equipment effects. It’s certainly not the most efficient archer class , but it does provides a platform for interesting synergy play . ( with frieno or wazstreal cannon for example )
