block is kinda reliable, also when you press the block key, peltasta at least gain massive defense and block chance.
So, iâve been thinking about this Scout tank thing⌠How viable would a block+evasion build be?
Something like Outlaw-Enchanter-Linker to use bully, enchant earth, lifeline and physical link.
A God among humans! Born from the power of friendship via lifeline and party buffs xD
can you please confirm if shields are part of the swap tables? I.e. can i swap velcoffer shield to 2h mace?
That should be fun to watch. If you invest in con/hp, scout support/tanker might be a thing but very very niche.
iirc scout cant use shield
enchanter gives you block chance even without shield
""5) Hunting Grounds
- Get twice the drop rate on all equipment.""
free dungeons (like Baubas Cave, Nazarene Tower) is âHunting Groundsâ or Hunting Grounds = normal maps, free dungeon are free dungeon, hunting grounds are hunting grounds ?
âfree Dungeonsâ = Hunting Grounds, in iTOS.
there are two types of players
1- âwhat attracts me is the game, what matters is the game, my character does not matterâ
2- âwhat I care about is the character, what attracts me and what I look to play is if have a character the way I like, the game itself is backgroundâ
I am the 2, and i am monoclass, i am assassin/thief/rogue
âAssassin/Rogue/Thief(which hopefully will never be part of this game)â , the âscoutâ is the thief, look at her skills ( double atk buff, dodge buff, invisibility), and look her welpon(dagger/pistol), and look her class tree (rogue, assassin, outlaw, shinobi), and look her gameplay âŚ
The only class that matters to me in RPGs finally arrives at TOS, the thief WILL BE part of the game soon âŚ
Nono. Not all free dungeons are hunting grounds. Sausys is a âfree dungeonâ (or whatever you want to call it), but itâs not a hunting ground.
Nazarene and Baubas are probably the only hunting grounds really worth noting.
Nah.
Sausys is a open world dungeon, like many other are.
âFree Dungeonâ was used as translation for âHuntingGroundsâ (by google/players) when they was first added in kTOS.
I think this link will help you! (Baubas is missing - outdated guide)

Oh, just ignore the drops and everything else aside from the names and locations!
Ah. I see, I misunderstood the weird translation.
Aggro pull isnât a type of CC. Itâs a redirection. CC implies locking enemies down and preventing them from moving or attacking, or re-positioning them to minimize the amount of time they have to perform actions.
Tanking involves drawing enemy attention away from other players specifically, and being the focus of the enemies aggro for an extended period of time. CCing a mob of enemies typically doesnât prevent them from targetting random teammates once the CC wears off, itâs just another form of mitigation.
These are pretty standard MMO and RPG tropes among many different games, I really donât understand why weâre suddenly struggling with this concept. CC is CC and Aggro/Tanking is Aggro/Tanking. There are only two genders, the earth isnât flat and licorice is the worst flavor in the jellybean jar. kappa.
Letâs not talk about those other stuff shall we?
1 - Taunt in ToS doesnât prevent mob from targeting other players. Have you ever played cannoneer? All aggro is directed to you after that c3 skill.
2 - CC stands for crowd control so as long as you are directing their attention to you by taunting, it IS CC. Weakening enemies, slowering them, etc. are also CC and those do not prevent enemies from attacking or moving, just weakens them. CC is not just locking enemies in place⌠as long as you are controlling mob action you are CCing.
Not sure why youâre getting ignored. Just make a new thread, i guess? (sorry, I donât know the answer to your questions)
Shields are armor pieces and âsub-weaponsâ too, in the game system.
Thatâs why this is possible:
Iâm not on kTOS, but people that actually are confirmed to me that Velcoffer Shields are exchangable just like Asios/Wastrels are.
I hope they keep the event the same way it is on iTOS.
That is how aggro works. Damage raises aggro. If you have so much damage that the aggro generated by your atk exceeds that of the tank taunting, then mobs will NATURALLY transfer to you.
No. These are terms established with years of use. Do not confuse your personal understanding of the words âcrowdâ and âcontrolâ as they are used in the real world. âCCâ is a term SPECIFICALLY crafted to refer to preventing somethingâs ability to fight. Redirecting something via taunt does not prevent something from fighting and is therefore NOT CC.
This is just another case of someone imposing their own definitions on pre-existing, well established terms.
