I thought the same thing, Krivis still has another bonus that makes the monk interesting. Increase hit rates, double the number of Energy blast hits, reduce critical resistance, and increase critical rate
yeah i was trying chrono just to see if the damage from the elementalist and warlock would be enough but it isnt

One of my longest standing complaints about monks is they spend too much time fist pumping(applying buffs and debuffs. monstrance scroll, zalcai, divine stigma, daino, fanaticism, fanatic illusion, beady eye, melstis, finger flick, knife hand). Good to see they addressed that problem. 
Hopefully the increased aspd helps from the latest patch. General double punch speed was slow and so was comboing skills from the videos we’ve seen.
Doppel no longer has attributes for zornhau, redel & zucken.
From the vids I’ve seen, Redel & Zucken both have 1 second cooldown, but can only be used after either Zwercchau or Zornhau. You can use both Redel & Zucken only once after a Zwercchau or Zornhau.
Zornhau now deals less dmg than bash, and is used only to enable the use of Redel and Zucken (which aren’t that strong either, considering their low skill factor for a limited AoE)
Zwercchau has 3 overheats, 45 sec cd.
Zornhau has no overheat, 15 sec cd.
EDIT:
Zwercchau (max lvl): 257% * 3 factor, causes bleeding
Redel (max lvl): 107% * 5 factor, deals +100% damage on bleeding targets
Zornhau (max lvl): 214% factor (lol), causes shock
Zucken (max lvl): 133% * 4 factor, deals +100% damage on shock targets

so doppel looks worse than before, not enough dmg to compensate horrible def 
Spike trap never looked so strong. It is not a new trap, Its been buffed by lasting forever. To used to do 1 shot and that’s it.
Spring trap seems something fun to use on pvp and gvg.
I think the only thing saving doppels is DoV, Cyclone (which is the best AoE for swordy now), and the fact Sturtzhau ignores 50% defense (used to be 20%).
Having to prepare the enemy with a previous zornhau / zwercchau just so you can use redel / zucken is disappointing for the damage they do. Against bosses maybe it’s decent as filler skills, against mobs it looks really sad (esp because of these skills dmg/AoE ratio).

I believe after this changes the main builds, in general, will focus on critical chance, dodge, evasion, that sort of thing
damage might be a secondary focus
monk died for the new chaplain, just get that sweet extra attack speed and just auto attack.
have you seen any video of doppel in action, its by far the highest swordsman dps in the current ktest patch.

Just did some number crunching (I’m no wizard at it), but it may seem maxing Double Punch is a trap to some builds.

The skill calculator that got posted, https://tos.guru/ktest/simulator , where you can see class attributes under the class names and there I saw the attribute. though I am not sure if it is new or not.

I understand. This attribute of krivis is not new. This attribute is the one which increases your fire-property-resistance. And decreases your dark property resistance. When you view itos-planner you will notice the same attribute.
Yes owl statues are better now. No longer shoot AoE in a line forward. AoE around the statue.

I’ve always liked the Priest/Chaplain/PD build for a healer hybrid, I wonder if it’ll still work. Kinda disappointed that they reverted the Incineration/BDS OH changes.
Not sure if I’ll be able to keep the classic EleWarlock/Rune caster combo, maybe there’ll be better alternatives now, maybe chrono for quick cast?
