If I’m not mistaken, the pawn means riding only.
I just had a dumb moment is all lmao
doesnt highlander have +50% crit atk bonus
idk how those things are calculated
IIRC it’s a flat bonus to your crit. damage stat. Or at least it was that way. A very old newbie trap.

Item Changes
1. 4ever Update: We will provide more explanations for our changes.
※The material required to craft Level 430 Legend Equipment will not drop. We will provide details of how and when to make Level 430 Legend Equipment after we launch the raid which provides Level 430 Legend Equipment.
※Magic-grade equipment will not drop in new areas, and Magic-grade enchant jewels will not appear. Nucle and Sierra powder will drop instead of Magic-grade equipment.
※The drop rate of Level 430 Rare and Unique grade equipment is much lower in new areas.
※When disassembling level 430 Rare and Unique grade equipment, you will obtain an Enchant Jewel with 100% chance
Reasons for Change
The development team has carefully reviewed feedback provided by users after we announced the update.
Nowadays, Tree of Savior has a variety of ways to upgrade your equipment, and many involve a lot of randomness. The team has decided that a large reason users were upset was due to the fact that their equipment they have finally completed through these various upgrade processes is being replaced by new equipment so soon.
With the equipment you have already acquired in previous episodes, it would be easy to quickly enter the new raids and acquire new equipment in the next episode. We wanted to avoid a case where your current equipment would be quickly determined as “old equipment”, and decided to hold off on releasing “easy to obtain” legend equipment until after the release of the next legend raid equipment.
In the case of stats on the equipment, however, we will be moving forward with the information we already provided. The development team believes that due to the large amount of equipment that drops, the value of equipment in general has dropped, and the fun of acquiring any items has decreased. The increased power of new equipment is to improve these points, and the time/difficulty to acquire these new equipment items has been increased to compensate, and we expect that it will still take quite some time for current Ichors in the game to be classified as “old equipment.”
In addition, with the new class ranking system, the difficulty in finding a class build that can adequately farm field monsters is significantly lower than before, so we want to increase the merits of farming monsters in the field.
However, it was impossible to balance Magic-grade equipment between its difficulty in obtaining it and its power level, due to the increase of random stats. Even then, 99.9% of the time, the items were simply dismantled. Therefore, they will no longer appear, and you will immediately obtain the dismantle product instead (Nucle Powder). Meanwhile, in order to counteract the fact that it will be more difficult to acquire Sierra Powder, we will add that as a drop from monsters as well.
As we previously announced in the 4ever update post, the following information will stay true.
※This new information only applies to equipment level 430 and above.
You can acquire level 430 gear in the new Episode 12 areas.
Rare-grade Equipment: Random Stats between 20 to 100% of minimum/maximum
Unique-grade Equipment: Random Stats between 80 to 100% of minimum/maximum
A full table of the new item stats can be viewed here: http://tos.nexon.com/lab/dev/view.aspx?n4ArticleSN=137
2. Change types of random stats
※Existing unidentified random stat items will have these new changes upon being identified.
Added new random options to counteract the effects of target-specific damage stats, provided at the same stat rate as those stats.

Decrease Plate Target Attack
Decrease Medium-sized Target Attack
The 8 different “Additional Property Damage” stats and resistances will be combined into the “Extra Damage” and “Extra Damage Resistance” stats.
Previous items with these old stats will have their values added to these new stats.
3. Added two new Magnifier items.
Two new magnifiers can be obtained through the Goddess’ Grace event.
※ You can only use these magnifiers on random stat items level 430 and above.

3.2 Sandra’s Expert Judgment Magnifier
Allows you to re-roll the stat number on a specific stat of your choice. You can select as many as you like (1 or more).
4. Ichor
4.1 Increased chance of extracting ichors
-The chance has been doubled.
4.2 Easier Ichor Transmutation
-The number of equipment needed for transmutation has been decreased from 3 to 2.
5. Item Awakening and Enchant Jewel Stat Transfer
※In the case of awakening and enchant jewel stat transferring, we have decided to add a feature that allows transferring of stats from equipment that isn’t the same level. (However, depending on the level difference, the amount of ingredients needed to complete the transfer will increase).
6. New Unique equipment items have been added.
-17 new pieces of “Vaivora” equipment has been added.
-Each piece has its own new stats.
7. Adjust weapon average damage
-Weapon damage averages have been adjusted, to close the gap between weapons that were too powerful.

-The Challenge Modes in new areas provide drop bonuses up to 5x based on your party size.
New Item Type: Ark
-You will obtain one basic type of Ark by completing an Episode 12 quest. (STR/DEX/INT/SPR)
-By resting (sit with insert), you can increase the EXP of Arks and combine them through Ark Synthesis.
-Sierra Stones (the bottom item) are created by purchasing recipes and require 500 Sierra Powder to craft.
-You can transfer the existing EXP and level of your Ark to another Ark through resting.
※The Ark being transferred must be at the same level or higher than the target Ark, and if they are at the same level, the EXP value must be higher.
※Ark transfer does not add experience, but simply overwrites/replaces the target’s EXP and level.
(Example: A level 4 30,000 experience Ark will convert a level 3 10,000 experience Ark into a level 4 30,000 experience Ark.)
※The Ark transferred will not be destroyed, but will be reset to level 1 and 0 EXP.
※The maximum level of Arks will be increased through updates, and lower levels will have their required EXP and materials reduced.
※If the Ark maximum level is increased and lower level costs are reduced, you will receive compensation in the Market Retrieve tab based on the excess of materials you already used to reach your existing Ark level.

I think I’m finished. I’m going to take a rest.
isnt that critical attack?
No, it’s Critical Rate.
They’ve really gone overboard with some of those stats…
how do we farm vaivora weapons? only dropable from Elite and CM6+ elite monster?
Correct. Elite monsters. CM Stage 6-7 spawns elite monsters, so you either kill them there or in the field.
sadly no drop rate visible for those vaivora weapons…
@Don_Falce remember skiaclipse 2 hand sword tragedy? it changed from +3 hits to +30% dmg, so anything is still can be revised
Sounds like a job for mergen and cannons
Good lord.
they also increase high level mobs crit res and block and probably nay other stats.we dont know what they fully prepare on the plate yet.beside everything in tos (as always) are subjects of change
Even then, there is a substantial disparity between these equips and the old ones.
If the new enemies are to be balanced over the stats provided by the new equips…well, it will be rather hard to kill them to get those equips to begin with.
And that’s assuming your class of choice can have access to those stats to begin with. With those high crit resistances, either you can equip one of those new weapons, or you just won’t crit at all.
That said, it’s being tested. We’ll see the end results.
