ikr, how could they forget something of such dire importance?

I’m sad to see skills are locked now in Werewolf form. My build is pretty much rendered useless for WB because of that, unless they drastically lower the CD at the least. I also liked being permawolfie. ;v is the SP drain removed at least?

I wonder if they gonna remove the super annoying sound effects and fix the controller bugs. I assume not though

I’m assuming the more human form will give your skills back, once you cannot use wolf skills

where is sapper/rogue/scout rework?? zzzzzZZ

my guess (hope) is that this is
just one part of the rework and that there is more to come in the future, like they did with musketeer and falconer

basically they made Ranger avaible again because until now it was pretty much a waste of 3 ranks to take it and only steady aim was useful (but very annoying to use personally)

Yup, that’s why I was very disappointed when I tried ranger myself (built into hacka)

because I don’t really see how it can be good other than overtranscending gear like what korean players do.

Hacka carried it. But I had to reset it to falc 3 since ranger right now is an abomination, lol.

quite a perfect match for mergen if it has an attribute that needs 2h bow

It’s really weird. They kind of revamped Healing a bit but this game doesn’t have any content requiring intricate healing mechanics: you either take little to no damage or you get twoshot (hence the popularity of immunity mechanics).

barbed arrow now does 1 / 3 / 5 hits to plate / leather / cloth

So basically, either you do somewhat decent damage to your target or you are completely useless. This is really a bad practice they need to abandon asap.
Also, I thought Bodkin already removed Subzero Shield (it’s supposed to remove anything with “Shield” as buff group).

Yeah, Archer1 Ranger3 Rogue1 Falc3 Mergen1 might be great after those changes. Since High Anchoring won’t have to be charged, it’ll be a lot better to apply the crit resist debuff to make up with the loss of the bonus crit rate from Archer2 Swift Step attribute. With all the boosts, I can also imagine Feint+Barrage dealing large chunks of damage.

But let’s hope we get more changes, like when they split Sword rework in Spear-based classes rework and the rest later.

Isn’t this new ranger still just steady aim? More so now with it reaching 300sec. It is still a dps class that doesn’t compare to the r8 and up classes. The only really good things are the buffs which we get 2 in steady aim and critical shot (doubting the buff uptime with its 5OH + 10cd but we don’t know if that changes). From just these 2 skills you already spend 30 for buffs (buffs are way more important at early ranks).

What I am pleased with is the introduction of conditional cd reduction. Conditional cd reduction started off in musketeer and I like that another archer class is getting this mechanic. Do want more specifics.

it seems that rangers can get more bonus damage for ranger skills aside from steady aim only so that’s a good start for a dead class

they seem to like adding “+50%” to dead classes.

Good catch. There’s also the 50% mounted skill damage on cata.

On the 1 hand it’s a cheap (dev time/salary/creativity) way to gauge damage (or lack there off) on the other hand it’s lazy and doesn’t actually address lack of identity (which has spawned a whole pool of other issues) that dps classes had from the start.

It’s a lazy treatment though. Meme magic is making IMC give helmets to all weak classes.

well, i did a lot of damage when i used with rogue feint+barrage, em spirral arrow. The build that i make just used Dex, and yellow gems, so, my cri damage was tons of damage, in every rotation skill. But yes, spirraw is a little weak.

Feels like a lazy “rework” on the Ranger class to me, but it’s better than leaving it a 3-circle-one-skill class.

Still no :heart: for Hunter? :sob:

Wheres my monk rework? iron skin still does nothing. palm strike, 1 inch punch, and knife hand do next to nothing. And now on top of 3000 lbs of potions i have to carry to sustain double punch i need to carry holy powder for melstis. thanks obama

a skill of qs will be removed, then they go for another one in place, I hope it’s something very good that makes the class useful

Monk was already reworked once with a balance patch, currently they are fixing Classes that didn’t get reworked even once. I guess this is also the reason why Hunter,etc. are missing.

Still doesn’t make Hunter,etc. better, but it’s at least something to hope for.

What I don’t understand is that they didn’t do anything to Dievdirbys. Aside from the Laima rework>nerf and Owl rework>nerf, Diev is still lacking things to make the Class more attractive.

Sapper got reworked, it now only uses 1 material for all skills :haha:
