Velkoverās Nest & New Legend Grade Items

Development team here, this is a post regarding new content featuring legend grade equipment that hasnāt really been touched upon since Earth Towerās release.
Velkoverās Nest
Since ancient times, dragons were beings that have existed in the world, but dragons have been previously defeated and sealed away by the goddesses and demons for quite some time now. However, ever since Medzio Diena, the strength of the sealing magic has become much weaker than what it used to be, causing things to wake up from their slumbering state once moreā¦
Velkoverās nest, home to Velkover - one of the ancient dragons, can actually be found by speaking to a Kupole found in Tevhrin Stalactite Cave Section 5, this NPC is Velkoverās Nest Gatekeeper.
Velkover's Nest Gatekeeper
Upon completion of a successful dungeon mission with 5 players youāll be able to obtain some rewards, From the cube you can obtain Velkoverās Spirit Fragments (Character Bound) and take it to Blacksmith Terry Averis, who can then forge the Velkover item series, which is equipment graded at Legend tier.
Blacksmith Terry Averis is an NPC that will craft items using the Velkover Spirit Fragments. Velkover and any other future legend-grade equipment enhancement, transcending and other types of upgrades can only be done through Terry Averis
Velkoverās Nest shares an entrance count with the currently Existing Earth Tower Lolopanther/Solmiki Sections. With the server update that went live on Feburary 1st, players can now only enter Legend Raids once per week (Twice if using a token) for each individual character, Do not worry about your failures because you can continue to attempt it as the entrance count is no longer deducted until your team clears the raid.
Unlike Earth Towerās system, where the different sections gave out different assortments of gear, the Velkoverās Nest will not have sections to it, Velkoverās Spirit Fragment is the only item type needed and can be exchanged for both weapons and armor.
Velkoverās Equipment Series
This new lineup of legend items are for Lv. 360 and the gear has all assortments of weapons, armor, and costumes. (Legend Grade Accessories have been removed from raids for now, the next Demon Lordās Accessories will be Legend grade.)
The Velkover items can have a higher performance than the next tier of items brought out when the set effect is brought into consideration, similarly to the current Lv. 350 Unique equipments (Primus/Masinios, etc.) Unlike the Lolopanther & Solmiki gear, this new set of equipment will be adopting a different system to the existing legend tier items.
A newly crafted Velkover item will not have any optional stats on it at all.
The optional stats of these Legend Grade items are different and can be applied to the gear by combining the Velkover gear with Ichor items which is an item obtained through a new extraction method.
Ichor Extraction has a low chance of succeeding, however when it does succeed the optional stats of equipment is transferred into an Ichor (the itemwill be extracted, regardless of its tradability), the item being extracted will then disappear afterwards. If the extraction process fails, the potential of the equipment is instead reduced by 1, and if you fail when the equipment is at 0 potential, the equipment is destroyed.
Currently, you can use Ichor Extraction on all weapons and armor that are Lv. 350, when attempting to use the Ichor Extraction function you will need Nucle and Sierra Powder which is dependant further upon the grade of the item being used.
Items that can be used in Ichor Extraction
Once you have obtained an Ichor you can apply the optional stats to the appropriate piece of Legend grade gear, dependant on what you used in the extraction process.
Ichors will specify what type of sort of items they can be applied to. Weapons are divided into subcategories (1-handed sword, staff, 2-handed bow etc.) and the same applies to armor (top, bottom, gloves, shoes)
Example of rules of application for Ichor Stones
Itās not so easy getting a high-end Ichor with good stats on it, but you can replace these applied optional stats at any time if you happen to have better options available to you, this of course can be done with another Ichor. You can change the options by applying new Ichors onto the gear, and donāt worry - there is no chances of failure or durability loss when doing this.
Configuring Equipment Set Options
The options of the Velkover equipment can be done once you have acquired a Vartis reagent and filled it up with energy.
You can purchase Vartis Reagent Containers from Vaidotas Winterspoon, the Alchemist Master. So, what happens is after purchasing this and carrying it around with you, while you are killing monsters, a percentage of the experience earned that is given by the monster is also stored inside the Vartis Reagent Container. And for those wondering, yes - even if you are at the level cap, the bottle will still gain experience.

* The Image of the potion is named āVartis Reagent Containerā and is the empty bottle, but later on only refers to the āfilledā bottle as a Veritiris Reagent Container. Please consider this information.
Once these reagents have been filled with experience and then using it on equipment will apply a random prefix to the gear.
There are 5 different types of prefixes with their own behaviors when wearing a set of Velkover gear, upon wearing 3 pieces of a Velkover set you can begin to get a set bonus depending on the prefix that is applied to it and the bonuses improve when wearing 4 or even 5 pieces of Velkover gear with the same prefixes.
In one case, for a set effect you will be required to fill 4 Veritiris Reagent containers.
The set will include weapons when factoring in set bonuses, so it is possible to apply 1 equipment set that uses the 4~5 set bonus, or even 2 different 3-set equipment effects. (Factoring in that we have 6 slots where we can equip Velkover gear, left-hand / right-hand / top / bottom / gloves / shoes)
The Velkoverās set effect increases your primary stats and other stats that are typically improved via equipment, but there will also bean exclusive active skill that can be unlocked from the bonus.

Instantly Obtainable Equipment
Players will have to go to the Velkover raid several times to get their equipment, as they need those spirit fragments in order to craft the gear that they desire, however, if you are lucky when opening the reward cube, there is a chance that you can get a random fully finished item.
Gear obtained this way functions the same way as other gear, but the gear will be Character Bound, meaning it is impossible to do any sort of trading with it (1:1 Trades, Markets, Shops, Team Warehouse) . If the character in question happens to get equipment that they donāt need or canāt use due to class differences, these items can be broken down for additional Velkover Spirit Fragments in addition to Nucle & Sierra powder through item disassembly.
And to wrap-up this post, weāll talk about what equipment can be obtained, it is possible to obtain a Velkover Costume & Helmet. Velkover Costumes can only be obtained through the Velkover Cube and the costume is entirely tradable. There is also a set-option that has been added to the costume that reduces the damage taken from enemies inside Velkoverās Nest.

So instead of creating actual endgame they expanded the āgear up progressā by another heavily RNG driven feature.
Furthermore they buttfuck everyone having a good RNG or Masinios Weapon with 0 potential thanks to the awesome refining system.
IMC sure knows how to get rid of their players.

donāt worry, the āglowing ichor stoneā to prevent loss of potential for only 99tp will appears in cash shop (or in gacha, even better) to save those player !

nice dung, play 2 times per week and you have top equip, and no point play before this dungeon come to itos 
Well, and here I was wondering if we could extract that amazing stats for a rod that happens to be on a crossbowā¦
At least we can extract stats from Leather type and apply to cloth or plate
I like this new raid though probably gonna get it so late that talks of rank 10 will probably be around by the time players get their equipment.
So are you allowed to reroll the prefix thing and does it reduce potential. Kinda confused me.
then you suffer to make this equipment with perfect status and ends up getting it +6 and 0 potential

Not to mention too bad if you socket Monster Gems into them.

I usually like wings, butā¦ I donāt know, I think they donāt go well with the charactersā¦ If I get one, it would be only to sellā¦ I do prefer cute hatsā¦
And I bet there will be hordes of people lagging kaipeda with these thingsā¦ they look heavier than your own body, the char should just fall on his back!
