I don’t see a lot of difference in the pre-nerf and post-nerf video. Is this a bug? Or is this nerf actually insignificant?

It did slightly less? Maybe…? O_O; I am curious to know if it’s still bugged or working as intended as well.

Looks like the hangman’s knot interaction is fixed. Looks like it’s just getting counted as 3 AoE ticks. She’s hitting for roughly 5k MM hits * 8 links. So ~40k per missile * 3 per cast so 120k MM dmg. Dies on first missile swarm? Ah, ignition… ignite procs in there.

… it’d be nice if they weren’t using ignition… Could see the dmg easier.

Either way she didn’t get iToS’ed… if she did she’d be doing like 15k per MM cast. With over heat MM is rocking a 17 second CD. So if she wanted to kill the pack with magic missiles she’d take 6 mins not counting ignition procs. And no interaction for AoE’ers that are hitting the targets already.

Until they work out a balanced version of links we’re kind of all or nothing.

Running Shot is what’s making it hit twice per shot.

If the damage increase from running shot is applying to this skill, then it’s pretty miserable DPS :confused:

But that Overheat Cannon is just what i wanted :3

well, he is doing 40k per hit(20kx2), without any debuff, i believe is very fine, since is only one skill from c2.
and i also that can also be boosted by quicken from chrono.

nah i mean, if he’s doing 20k (x2) per auto considering the +200% dmg from Running Shot, then the damage of this skill without Running Shot’s damage buff is pretty pathetic

but the damage from skill is only at 5k past boost i believe, and we do not even know the attribute that he have , but i understand what you mean, i just saying that 40k is fair strong for one skill.

I would prefer that they make serpentine not stack with other debuffs. Swordman is already hard enough to play, another short window of burst won’t help.

Any info on the patch companions got? are they slightly less stupid, or with their track record are companions even more stupid?

I don’t understand the point of that. With Serpentine and Spear Lunge you can get +150% Pierce damage. With Slithering and High Kick you can get +200% Strike, without an R8 or even R7 class. Why give an R8 class such a harsh restriction? And how does that make Swordsman “easier to play”?

IMO Cannoneer is fine now. That’s nice to see…
