this one a surprised that archer class gets this
I never really appreciated how wonderful Pain Barrier is until I tried playing a â â â â â â â hackapell.
Knockback should be deleted from Tree of savior, end of statement.
Nah, just make it less prevalent and more avoidable. Remove the stagger on every single hit, though, itâs total cancer with multihits or big groups of mobs.
I would had stacked gazing golem card but the chance to activate is too low. In addition saalus is total cancer to run after the combat patch.
Iâd love to remove stagger and buff evasion, but have the old RO mechanic of not being able to dodge if 5+mobs are attacking you at the same time, simulating getting mobbed by too many simultaneous attackers at the same time. I rather liked that little thing, as pointless as it was.
Maybe add stagger on every 5th hit that occurs within a specific timeframe. Would reduce it to less annoying levels without completely removing it. Kinda less predictable though, might confuse newer players.
If you donât know that GW2 is still a (untraditional) tab target game I donât think youâre aware of whatâs going down in the background. Itâs an inbetween the Tera and regular system, retaining all of the latters mechanics. Same deal with TSO to an even lesser degree.
Again. All you need to do in Tree of savior is play an archer and use the single-target attacks to see how the gameplay functions when broken down.
Itâs notably different from a free aim system where itâs first come first served with a projectile. Mind you that line was specifically again to note Archer gameplay.
If all you want is player centered attacks without a target, FFXIV also features those, but like many of its contemporaries many of its skills rely on a target for practical use.
To the above discussion.
ToS has too much knockback in general. Its straight ridiculous like they couldnât think of all the other things they could possibly do. Debuffs, or other status effects? Nah just knock them back/down. With so much of it being circular aoe as well, even a Pain barrier buffed tanking swordsman doesnât offer much as he often canât redirect the knockbacks to himself only.
Show me how you can do that in this fight, I would seriously be impressed if someone could pull that off.
Itâs completely different than saying âGW2, Blade and Soul, TSO, WoW, FFXIV are all tab-target based games.â
Whatâs you are talking about is not tab target, itâs just a target system like we have in ToS and FFXIV as you say it, and those games are using tab target + AoE (without target). GW2 is using a target system but you donât need to use tab target, like BnS and so TSO. They are not tab target based and you donât actually need a target to use your skills, ToS donât always need a target to use your spells, Oblique Shot for exemple, but without a target you cannot hit a monster, which is different in GW2/BnS/TSO.
As said in the video âeasyyyyyyyyyyyyyâ. In this fight the player is using WQSD to move because itâs more comfortable for him, but as you can see, you could only use your mouse to move and use your abilities, this is litteraly how many players are playing this game. Even devs are not hiding this fact.
Time to be impressed:
People can pull off a lot of stuff if they want to.
puppeteer in archer makes have been confirmed for sometime
though no rank known
You do remember that Spectre Monarch in Crystal mines back when we were barely in second rank class levels would drop a lightning totem that if ignored shoots AoE lightning that hurts a lot if you didnât 1 shot him with blessing buffed low level characters?
Though I remember the lightning 2 shotted me back in beta and it still existed in founders(but didnât chunk your hp in rapid succession anymore)
IMC probably had the inkling to do something like that then dropped it. People actually complained about Mirtis spinning energy blade thing I remember, then IMC added those spawning footholds to make life easier.
Denoptic also had the bullet hell-esque skill that knocked you back as he hopped around. Pretty fun to get around and time between his invincibility frames spam to deal some damage. I believe IMC should make more bosses like Denoptic, but make the bullet hell cover the screen more and if players ned more challenge, spam the skill with his high invincibility frame and teleports more frequently.
This puppeteer class isnât the Pied Piper that was showed on some beta teaser 2 years ago?
No, it is not the same class.
OMG that is cute i need to dedicate a character slot for that <3 hehehe
FF14 is literally the exact same controls as tos on keyboard and controller modes. its pretty obvious they donât play ff14
