kTOS General Thread v2.0

As what I can see in the video, I think IMC will bring new costumes color package, just like hair dye, to allow ppl to renew their costume color :sunglasses:

what fencer got nerfed ?? preparation works for all pierce multi hit and not just first hit

Trying to test kabbalist, but lack of silvers in ktest to do any substantial testing. Merkabah’s attributes just cost way too much. Have to wait a few days more.

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

It doesn’t mean you have to backstab strong classes, you have to find a way to balance things and not overnerf them. Wait and see.

Anyone know how to make kTOS into English? I saw that they removed the option for language so i’m not sure if its still doable now. I tried editing the user.xml but it didn’t really do anything.

Is there any way to break even with Finestra’s new evasion loss?
It seems like such an impossible number…

Use a shield. :disappointed:

If you don’t have any evasion to begin with, there’s nothing to lose.

Ah sorry, i means 1st pierce type attack or skill, after the buff. Yes it is still works to multihit skill.
But still “Au Fer” with 1 only hit is the best scalling damage of all fencer skill for now.

Using a shield is the best option, 250% block is a lot.

Did they make blessing hit for like 3k and OOB prolly hits for 1-2k? It’s almost like a lot of these changes don’t really change anything to fix the overall class balance compared to before.

I have a better idea.

i’m playing a Hoplite-Corsair though :anguished:
Oh well… who needs evasion anyway?!

How effective is leather or plate at mitigating damage? I don’t think i’ve seen anyone mention how much defense matters now, if it does.

How does post-change Merkabah do compared to iTOSs current Merkabah?
Will it actually be worth using as a damage skill? Right now on iTOS it’s kinda “meh” in terms of damage.

Seriously with a nerf like that it should just cost 5 skill points.

But of course only unlock at circle 2 or 3.

Well, since I know the numbers from my main being a Kabba2, I can guarantee that whatever they did to Merkabah boosted the damage by a lot!

Reason is that my Kabbalist ran around with 50% Merkabah attribute (which is ± equal to the new level 100 attribute because attributes increase damage by 0,5% now).
Level 6 Merkabah had a base attack value of 1641; after coupling that with my matk of ~ 1k average (yeah no INT besides from equipment, DEX/CON build), I usually hit around 1-3k damage when a chariot exploded (only enemies weak to Holy element took more damage, with some peak against Demon Prison monsters of around 7-9k).

With presumably 350% matk per explosion, that damage should be in the 3,5k already (without taking into account defence) and boosted even more by the attribute to up to 4,725k per explosion base damage. Now that Maces also have boosted matk values, which are easily upgradeable via refinement, dealing 2-3 times the previous damage should be achievable.

Btw, I don’t know what happened to the Divine Protection attribute of Merkabah, but if it’s still working as previously, you can add another 30% damage on top of that per chariot. The main issues of lots of useless skills and high CD times remains, now coupled with exaggerated SP costs on top of them (really, nearly every skill costs like 200+ SP [aside those useless calculation skills] at max level and has ± no effect aside from Merkabah and Ein Sof).

I just hope they do the rebalancing together with Rank 9 update [and give us the freakin Golem already; Necromancers shouldn’t have Golems to summon, as Golems are explicitly property of the Jewish Clergy&Kabbalism and are inanimate things to begin with; things that don’t live&die can’t be ressurected/summoned by necromancy <_<]
